Head of the Iranian pilgrims referring to the programs of the Hajj and Pilgrimage area with the goal of pilgrimage trips resumption, stated: We are pursuing the proper holding of Hajj al-Tamattu' and Umrah.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab expressing the plans of Hajj and Pilgrimage area for the resumption of pilgrimage trips to the land of revelation, stated: we are pursuing the proper holding of Hajj al-Tamattu' and Umrah. He stated the comments at the meeting of Sunni Efta Council which was held in Golestan province.


With vaccinations and measures taken in the field of health, the hope for Hajj and Umrah has increased and we are looking to solve predictable problems, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.


Stating that in the past two years, while writing to the Saudi Hajj Minister and Hajj closure for foreign pilgrims, we asked for a quota to be allocated for Iranian pilgrims; Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: following protocols and rules and save the lives of pilgrims is also important for us in pilgrimage trips.


Referring to the registration of compatriots who have announced their readiness for Hajj in 1999, he said: We hope that this year a group of people who have registered for Hajj could visit the land of revelation, although its realization will depend on the corona pandemic and cooperation of the host government.


Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs in another part of his speech, referring to a narration from Imam Sadegh (AS), said: this group, as people who practice Taqiya in religion, must take responsibility and calculate our actions.


He also commemorated the memory of the late Haj Mamousta Mostafavi and a large number of clerics in the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage who died due to Corona, and reminded them of the need for unity in language and practice and said: We, as the servants of Zoyouf al-Rahman, must reach a single result in such meetings so that the people can do their duty more easily.


It is worth mentioning that the meeting of Sunni Efta Council was held in the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs in three shifts in the morning, afternoon and evening at the Hajj Rabbani school in Golestan province.
