The meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held in the presence of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, The director general of the organization's office for planning, receiving and sending pilgrims to Atabat-e- Aliyat said at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization that the new method of sending pilgrims to the holy shrines in Iraq has been welcomed.
Mr. Hamid Reza Mohammadi added at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab that with the role of pilgrimage offices becoming more prominent in the pilgrims' journey to Atbat, the number of pilgrims has increased compared to the beginning of the expeditions and it is expected that the number of caravans will increase by offering various pilgrimage packages and activating offices in different provinces. .
He also presented a detailed report on the meetings held to discuss the issue of visas canceling for traveling to Iraq, and Hojjat al-Islam Navvab asked the Atabat deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to take necessary measures in accordance with the axes of the presented report.
The Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization must act carefully in the new plan and take the necessary measures to guide the pilgrimage offices and shorten the time for settling foreign currency accounts, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs emphasized.
stating that the operational review and identification of weaknesses and strengths of new method in sending pilgrims to Atabat is on the agenda, Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization’s head also said at the meeting: the issue of sending pilgrims to Iraq by land is also being pursued through our embassy in Baghdad.
Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian considered it very important to pay attention to cultural programs in pilgrimage trips and specified: the cultural appendix of pilgrimage packages is the core of the expeditions and with the coordination of Culture Deputy of Supreme Leader Delegation Office efforts are made to provide these services as best as possible so that pilgrims can get the maximum spiritual benefit from pilgrimage trips.
The meeting continued with the report by Hajj and Umrah deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei on the corona outbreak and the latest Saudi decisions on the list of approved vaccines to enter the country and send pilgrims to Umrah from Jordan, Iraq and Egypt.
"Preliminary plans for the future Hajj al-Tamattu’ have started in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and executive affairs and training of agents are on the agenda, although so far no sign has been received from Saudi Arabia regarding the upcoming Hajj", he added.
According to this report, at the beginning of the meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab congratulated the auspicious birthday of Hazrat Zeinab (PBUH) and spoke about the importance of reason and thinking, quoting verses from the Qur'an and hadiths.
He recalled examples of the actions of Aqila Bani Hashem in the event of Ashura and after it and said: what caused the path of Imam Hossein (AS) to remain stable and the Umayyads and the Abbasids could not destroy the Hosseini movement and traces of martyrs’ blood ,was behavior accompanied by contemplation of Hazrat Zeinab (PBUH) wisdom.
