Memorandum of Cooperation between Supreme Leader’s Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization signs

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab and head of Islamic Culture and Communication Organization Hojjat al-lslam Mahdi Imanipoor signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two institutions in order to improve the level of cooperation and optimal use of existing facilities, capabilities and capacities in line with common goals in research, culture and propaganda.

Coordination and cooperation in order to identify effective and modern ways of establishing scientific, intellectual, cultural and propaganda communication inside and outside the country, as well as responding to the needs of the parties with the effective and efficient presence of the cultural-propaganda staff of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization are the goals of this memorandum of cooperation.

In this ceremony, which was also attended by several deputies and managers of these two institutions, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, while congratulating Hojjat al-lslam Imanipoor in his speech, reminded the need to benefit from the capacities of both parties and said: hajj has a special place in cultural-propaganda activities.

Supreme Leader’s Representation in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization have common international capacities, Hojjat al-Islam said, adding: Coordination and cooperation between these two institutions can also increase these capacities; The representative offices of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization can provide a platform to facilitate and expand the activities of Hajj and Pilgrimage.

In this memorandum, we seek to use the active forces operating in the Islamic world in a more favorable way to implement cultural, religious and scientific programs, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs emphasized.

Referring to the memorandums of cooperation between the Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the international forums and centers, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: Supreme Leader Delegation Office has been and is the second home of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization.

Head of the Iranian pilgrims, recalling the services of Ayatollah Taskhiri, whom the Supreme Leader described as a tireless man, stated: "Many loved ones who worked in this field died during the corona pandemic and we must cherish them".

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab referring to the closure of sending pilgrims to Mecca due to the coronavirus outbreak said that during this period, Supreme Leader Delegation Office has not lost contact with the audience waiting for the trip.

Hojjat al-Islam Mohammad Mahdi Imanipoor also called establishment of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization a revolutionary development in international culture era.

The main purpose of Islamic Culture and Communication organization’s establishment is the revolutionary reconstruction of structures and avoiding fragmentation of activities in international cultural arena to achieve the highest goals of the organization, he added.

He further said: "We will make great efforts to form a joint center of international cultural activities in the country and will play the necessary role so to have a broad coordination between cultural institutions especially Supreme Leader Delegation Office."

Hojjat al-Islam Imanipoor announced the readiness of Islamic Culture and Communication Organization to increase interaction and cooperation with Supreme Leader Delegation Office and said: cooperation between the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization and the Supreme Leader Delegation Office has been long-standing, and we hope that this cooperation will further flourish with signing the Memorandum of Understanding.

Referring to the recent statements of Supreme Leader of Revolution about the need for redoubled efforts to narrate the truth to the people, Hojjat al-Islam Imanipoor said: he recently emphasized in a meeting that if we do not narrate the truth, the enemy will change the place of the oppressor and the oppressed by lying and distorting and lying. This warning and concern of Supreme Leader, especially in the current situation, should be paid more attention than before.

Head of the Islamic Culture and Communication Organization stated: We in the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication are also trying to show the world the correct narration of the revolution and the holy system of the Islamic Republic abroad.

Hojjat al-Islam Imanipoor stating that the Supreme Leader’s second phase statement is towards civilization, said: we consider the Islamic Revolution as a living and ever-growing phenomenon and one of the heavy tasks that we have in the second phase of the revolution , will be the realization of a new Islamic civilization.

For this purpose, we need the issue of the Islamic Ummah, and again we look at the Supreme Leader Representation complex as an opportunity for the realization of Islamic unity and the formation of Islamic Ummah and achievement of a new Islamic civilization, he added.
