Review of latest developments on upcoming Hajj and pilgrims trips to Atabat-e-Aliyat
Latest developments regarding the upcoming Hajj and Iranian pilgrim trips to Atabat-e-Aliyat in Iraq and Syria was reviewed at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
Hajj and Umrah deputy in Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei, reportedat this meeting on the new structure of companies providing services in Hajj and how it would be implemented since 1444 AH.
Referring to the contacts with Saudi companies regarding the upcoming Hajj, he said: so far no official statement has been published about the 1443 Hajj at the level of Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the official news.
He also referred to daily published statistics on holding prayers and pilgrimage in the Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque and performing Umrah, and presented a detailed report on the studies carried out on the Smart Hajj project and the goals of its implementation by Saudi Arabia.
In the continuation of this meeting, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs stressed the need to review and identify features of the software used in this project and provide the necessary training to cultural and executive agent and also pilgrims. He also considered the observance of religious issues in accordance with the standards of different Islamic religions, including Ja’fari jurisprudence, necessary in implementing this plan.
The meeting continued with the report of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization chairman Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian on his recent visit to Syria in the form of Joint economic commission of two countries and the talks held during the visit with the Syrian parties regarding dispatching Iranian pilgrims to Damascus.
Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, noting that so far four groups of 25 people have been sent to Damascus in the form of pilgrimage caravans, added: due to the pre-registration for the pilgrimage trips to Syria in all the provinces, the organizing and planning for sending the enthusiasts of this spiritual journey will be done.
Deputy of Management Development and Resources in Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Mohammad Azad informed at this meeting about the new agreements with domestic airlines to provide tickets for pilgrimage caravans to Iraq, calling it a positive step in securing the rights of pilgrims and preparing tickets with suitable price.
According to this report, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also stated at the beginning of the meeting, commemorated the anniversary of Nawab Safavi and his companions martyrdom and said: This young, intelligent and humane cleric played a role in shaping religious programs and in 1327, with the establishment of the occupying regime in Quds, the first struggles, uprisings and slogans against this occupying regime were resonated in the country by the martyr Nawab Safavi.
