Commemoration ceremony of the first anniversary of demised Hojjat-al Islam Mazlumi

The ceremony to commemorate the first anniversary of the demised Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Javad Mazlumi was held at the Hajj and Pilgrimage Complex.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, the ceremony to commemorate the first anniversary of the late Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Javad Mazlumi former international deputy of the Supreme Leader Delegation Office was held in accordance with the health protocols by Supreme Leader's representation in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs in Tehran.


At this ceremony, which was attended by Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Ali Reza Rashidian, a number of scholars, clerics, officials and staff of Hajj and Pilgrimage, officials of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Religions, the World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt, the Noor Islamic Science Center and some related institutions and his family; chairman of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Religions after reciting verses from the words of God and reciting the Ziyarat Ashura, spoke about the importance of the status of science and scholar in Islam and the characteristics of religious scholars.


Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Ali Qazi Askar citing verses and hadiths, described the position of science in Islam as high and stated: Scholars are the heirs of the prophets and the guide of people and have played a very important role in guiding the Islamic society throughout history.


Chairman of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Religions stating that the value of a wise human being is not comparable to a person who does not know anything, he referred to a narration from the Prophet that the death of a scholars creates a flaw that nothing can fill, and said: we have lost great personalities such as the martyrs Motahhari, Beheshti and Bahonar but their place was not filled.


He called Islam view on science purposeful and specified: a science that serves Islam and society and an scholar who acts base on the Qur'an, the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) and the manners of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) is respected by Islam.


He also referred to some interpretations of scholars who have knowledge but do not act on it and enumerated some of the characteristics of educated scholars and said: "humility, asceticism, compassion and interest in people are the characteristics of divine scholars."


Hojjat al-Islam Qazi Askar further referred to the manners and lifestyle of the Imam of the Nation (RA) and said: late Imam did not say anything about himself in his life, he always spoke to people humbly and officially told them not to call me a leader.


Stating that the life of Imam (RA) did not change either before or after the revolution and even became simpler, he added: Imams Khomeini had a completely ascetic life when he was in Najaf, he also lived in a rented house in Iran and although he was the leader of the Islamic Revolution, did not use government facilities and budgets during his lifetime, and behaved in the same way until the end of his life.


Comparing the characteristics of the scholar and devotee, chairman of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Religions stated: divine scholar considers only God and other than God has no place in his mind, he works for God and moves in the path of religion by relying on God and until the end life will serve Islam and the Islamic community.


He went on to mention Hojjat al-Islam Mazlumi as an educated scholar, scientist with hawza and university sciences and familiar with computer science and added: The deceased served unpretentiously and sincerely in tasks he undertook, and never used his knowledge to gain points, and in practice he showed that in doing any work, he only considers God.


Hojjat al-Islam Qazi Askar mentioned faith in work and humility as other characteristics of the deceased and added: he did not seek worldly prestige in what he did and even many times he had said that what he has done was done by his colleagues and he only have encouraged them.


He mentioned the late Hojjat al-Islam Mazlumi as an expert in cultural and executive fields and said: the deceased was a representative of Supreme Leader in the High Council of Cyberspace. He was one of the most successful elements in abroad and with his mastery in several foreign languages, he played an important role in foreign missions and travels. In the Southeast Asia countries, he had a successful performance by attending a gathering of thinkers, scholars and people.
