Pathology of the new plan to send pilgrims to Atabat-e-Aliyat

Weaknesses and strengths of the new plan of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization for sending pilgrims to Atbat-e-Aliyat were examined at the meeting of Hajj and Pilgrimage officials.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.


In this meeting, chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Seyyed Sadegh Hosseini pointed out to the measures taken to evaluate the new plan for sending pilgrims to Atabat-e- Aaliyat and specified: concluding on this plan need more time, but due to the upcoming Nowruz trips, its bugs will be removed.


The meeting continued with the report of deputy Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Atabat affairs Hojjat al-Islam Sohbatollah Rahmani on the various aspects of sending pilgrim caravans to Iraq, and he announced the pre-registration of nearly twenty thousand people for the Nowruz Atabat.


He said that pre-registration of Nowruz trips will continue until Esfand 6th, adding: "we are planning to solve the problem of sending about 5,300 people who have registered for the trip to Syria."


Emphasizing the need to use appropriate strategies to respond to pilgrims, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said that defending the rights of pilgrims and improving the quality of pilgrimage trips is a priority of the Hajj Organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also appreciated the approach of the cabinet in facilitating pilgrimage programs that will further encourage pilgrimage offices in the current situation.


According to this report, in the continuation of this meeting, Hajj and Umrah deputy in Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei referred to the latest statements of Saudi sources and the news about the possibility of holding the next Hajj and a provided detailed report on the measures taken in the field of Hajj smart services and forming a strategic committee; not a specialized committee.


Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also called for speeding up the activities of strategic committee and specialized committees in the field of smart hajj services to fully understand the various dimensions of the host country plan and noted: the contents and conclusions of these activities must be submitted to the Planning Council within a certain time and lead to the active role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the processes and systems of smart hajj services.


According to this report, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs at the beginning of the meeting mentioned his visit to Khorasan Razavi and South Khorasan provinces last week and meeting with those involved and agents active in this field and provincial officials and by expressing the issues presented in these meetings and the reports received from Atabat, he stated: difficulties should be minimized through initiative and holding a consultative meeting, and some dissatisfaction should be resolved with more efforts and better services.
