Millions Take to Streets in Karachi to Express Solidarity with Gaza

The demonstrators chanted slogans in support of the oppressed people of Gaza, IQNA reported.Addressing the rally, Pakistan's Jamat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj ul Haq condemned the Zionist regime's crimes in the Gaza Strip.
He said the huge rally, which was unprecedented in Karachi, showed that the people of Pakistan are ready to defend Palestine.
Siraj ul Haq criticized Muslim countries and the world community for their silence over the atrocities in Gaza and said slammed western countries for supporting the occupying regime of Israel.
Khaled Meshaal, the political chief of Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, also addressed the rally via telephone.
At least 2016 Palestinian people have lost their lives and as many as 10,193 others have suffered injuries in the merciless Israeli attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip that started on July 8.
Nearly 540 children are reportedly among the dead.
A panel appointed by the United Nations Human Rights Council is expected to start investigating the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in its war on Gaza.
