An Iranian Hajj official says Hajj is the symbol of Islam's might as Islam is the religion of rationality.
Seyyed Ali Ghazi Asgar, representative of the leader of the Islamic Revolution in Hajj affairs, made the remarks in the gathering of Iranian pilgrims in the holy city of Medina in Saudi Arabia. He said Hajj, as the biggest congress of the world of Islam, is the strongest factor of unity among Muslims.
Mr Ghazi Asgar, who is also in charge of Iranian pilgrims to Holy Mecca, reiterated, "The enemy is always looking for a chance to divide Muslims; therefore, it is the duty of all Islamic sects to get united and stay united."
He said no Muslim has the right to insult another Muslim or even the followers of other religions, warning against the plots of certain satellite channels that insult Islamic sanctities in order to sow discord between Shia and Sunni Muslims.
