Definitive registration for dispatching pilgrims to Atabat-e-Aliyat will begin from tomorrow Tuesday.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab. Chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization announced at the meeting that air travel capacity has been provided for 50% of the pilgrims who have pre-registered for the Nowruz Atabat and more pilgrims will be sent if a new capacity is created.

Noting that no date has been announced yet for the start of ground trip to Aatbat-e-Aliyat, Mr. Seyyed Sadegh Hosseini added: "Plans have been made to send convoys to Nowuz from eight flight stations to Iraq."

According to the report, applicants who have pre-registered for Nowruz Atabat trips can apply tomorrow to finalize their registration, and those who do not pay for the trip within the announced deadline will be barred from traveling.

Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs expressed hope that the planning will lead to the satisfaction of the pilgrims and the pride of the pilgrims, and pilgrims return safely to the country at the end of the trip.

This meeting continued with the report of Hajj and Umrah deputy in Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei about the latest decisions and actions taken by Saudi Arabia for Umrah pilgrims.

Referring to the provisions of the guidelines for the removal of corona restrictions in this country, he clarified: Saudi Arabia has not yet announced the upcoming Hajj, but some actions and information indicate that the host country is preparing for holding Hajj, and on the other hand it is not clear how much quota will be allocated to Islamic countries.

In the continuation of this meeting, Hojj al-Islam Navvab considering the limited time left until the next Hajj and the non-invitation of the host country to the Hajj officials of Islamic countries to conclude a contract, called for anticipating the necessary measures and possible scenarios for sending Iranian pilgrims.

This report indicates, director general of Plan, Program, Information Technology and Cyberspace Security Office of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Mehran Farshid presenting at the end of the meeting a report on the software used in this organization, explained in detail the features of the management counter system and said: one of its main goals is to make maximum use of available data for decision making.
