Emphasizing on the need to re-engineer new plan for dispatching pilgrims to Atabat, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs noted: "a ground must be provided so pilgrims could benefit the most from pilgrimage trips."

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization which was held under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab; Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs considered re-engineering the new plan to dispatch pilgrims to Atabat necessary and emphasized: expert groups should be formed as soon as possible and the bugs of this plan be resolved during the month of Ramadan.


Emphasizing that in the Hajj and pilgrimage complex goodness of pilgrims has always been considered, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab noted: a ground should be provided for the pilgrims of pilgrimage trips to Atabat-e-Aliyat so they could benefit the most, the current situation is not satisfactory.


He called on all those involved in Hajj and Pilgrimage and Supreme Leader Delegation office try the pilgrim's rights in return for the money they pay, be respected and everyone should do the best so there isn’t any problem in the process of dispatching and providing proper services to the pilgrims of Atabat-e-Aliyat after the holy month of Ramadan.


Deputy head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Atabat affairs Hojjat al-Islam Sohbatollah  Rahmani and Director General of the Office for Planning, Receiving and Sending Pilgrims to Atabat-e-Aliyat in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Hamid Reza Mohammadi reported about survey conducted on the new plan of Atabat and Nowruz Atabat and expressed the pilgrims’ satisfaction in the registration, transportation and pilgrimage, nutrition, accommodation and flight sections.


Stated that 57,129 pilgrims have been dispatched to Atabat since last Aban 23th until yesterday, Mr. Mohammadi said: more than 88% of these people have traveled to Iraq by air and less than 12% by combined air and land travel.


He pointed to the dispatch of 14,571 people in the form of Nowruz Atabat and announced the capacity of 8950 people for the holy month of Ramadan.


He also said so far 2,200 people have registered for Ramadan trips.


According to this report, Director General of Nutrition and Procurement in Hajj and Umrah affairs of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr.Morteza Aghaei referred to the latest news about holding Umrah and Saudi actions in Hajj and also chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Seyyed Sadegh Hosseini announced sending a letter to the host country in order to clarify the situation of the upcoming Hajj.


Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, while establishing contacts with some countries, is following up the future Hajj and is ready to hold it, Hosseini added.


At the beginning of the meeting, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs congratulated the arrival of holy month of Ramadan and said: The Qur'an can cure the pain of many societies, and during the life and especially in the spring of Qur'an, it requires man pay special attention to recitation and fondness with Qur'an.
