Initial registration Priority; criterion for dispatching to upcoming Hajj

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, It was announced at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization which was held under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab that due to Saudi Arabia's decision to hold Hajj ritual, communication with partner organizations and also forming specialized commissions to facilitate dispatch of Iranian pilgrims has begun.

Hajj and Umrah deputy in Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Akbar Rezaei said on the issue that among more than 74,000 pilgrims who have registered in 1399 and have paid their fees, the priority of initial registration in bank will be the criterion for dispatching pilgrims in Hajj 1401.

According to received news and information, out of one million people quota for the upcoming Hajj, 150,000 pilgrims from inside and 850,000 from outside Saudi Arabia will attend Hajj al-Tamattu’ rituals, he added.

Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization chairman Mr. Seyyed Sadegh Hosseini also stated that three conditions for accepting pilgrims are being under 65 years, vaccination with vaccines which are approved by Saudi Arabia and corona negative test.

We are following up to receive Hajj invitation as soon as possible so that the status of upcoming Hajj and the quota of Iranian pilgrims in the future Hajj become clear and a memorandum of understanding will be signed between two sides, he added.

Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs stating that God has made physical and financial ability as conditions of affordability for Hajj, called the age condition by Saudi Arabia for performing the obligatory divine as surprising because with this condition, many health people will be deprived from performing this year’s hajj.

Allocating a quota of 150,000 for pilgrims inside Saudi Arabia and 850,000 for more than one billion Muslims in the world is not compatible with the logic of one per thousand people, he emphasized.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also called on everyone to try to provide the best services for Iranian pilgrims who go to Hajj.

It was clarified at the meeting that pilgrims who have registered for Hajj, if they have not yet completed their vaccination period, inject vaccines approved by Saudi Arabia as soon as possible.

Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization deputy in Atabat affairs Hojjat al-Islam Sohbatollah  Rahmani reported on the implementation of Nowruz atabat and the process of sending pilgrims to Iraq during the holy month of Ramadan and specified: it will be tried problems and damages in dispatching pilgrims to Atabat-e-Aliyat be solved by forming various working groups and using the views of Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and also chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.

According to this report, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs at the beginning of the meeting also expressed his condolences on the anniversary of the death of the Holy Lady of Islam, Hazrat Khadijeh Kobra (PBUH) and pointed out to the part of her sacrifices in strengthening the young tree of Islam and the successes of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

With her unique role, Hazrat Khadijeh provided the most service to the Holy Prophet of Islam, and the Holy Prophet of Islam also said: God did not reward me better than Khadijeh, she helped Islam with her wealth and when others were infidels, God forgave me Kowsar of her.
