Stating that 15th Dhuʻl-Qiʻdah (25th Khordad) is the beginning of Hajj 1401 operation, deputy of hajj and pilgrimage organization in umrah and hajj affairs said: registration of applicants will be done in the second 10 day of Ordibehesht.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, The meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held on Sunday (11th Ordibehesht). Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab emphasized at the meeting on following up and more efforts to prepare the conditions for registration and dispatch of Masjid al-Haram’s pilgrims.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stressed on the necessity of pilgrimage caravans managers attendance in the briefing sessions and said that the continuous presence in the briefing sessions will provide better services to the pilgrims.


He also asked chief of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center Dr. Marashi, to consider measures in order to strengthen the safety of pilgrims, given the need for PCR testing for dispatching pilgrims.


The report on latest measures in accommodation, support, nutrition, transportation, health and medical services for the pilgrims of Masjid al-Haram and also the efforts to solve the problems of Atabat-e-Aliyat pilgrimage and provide better services to the pilgrims of Imam Hossein (AS) was presented at the meeting.


Deputy of hajj and pilgrimage organization in umrah and hajj affairs Mr. Akbar Rezaei announcing  the time of pilgrims registration for Hajj 1401,said: registration of applicants will be done in the second 10 day of Ordibehesht.


Referring to the final Hajj quota, he announced the allocation of the provincial quota and the number of caravans in each province, and said: the number of people eligible to enter the land of revelation is determined according to the age announced in the Mesar system (age under 65 years) and maintaining the registration status in the year 99.


Referring to the need to pilgrims vaccination for enter Saudi Arabia, he said: according to the health ministry, a number of eligible people have not been vaccinated or injected a dose of corona vaccine, and if they do not meet the vaccination process, book a caravan is not possible.


Mr. Rezaei also said that the necessary consultations for vaccinating pilgrims and performing PCR tests in approved centers, issuing cards and holding coordination meetings in the health sector have been done.


Referring to the coordination with the Aviation Organization, he announced 15th Dhuʻl-Qiʻdah ( 25 Khordad) the start time of Hajj al-Tamattu’ 1401 and 29 Dhuʻl-Qiʻdah ( 7th Mordad) as the end of the Hajj operation and expressed hope Hajj operation would be done in accordance with the schedule.


He called for the announcement of educational topics by the cultural deputy of Supreme Leader Delegation, so that the provincial managers inform the number of necessary face-to-face training sessions and also virtual training would be held along with them.
