Important recommendations of Iranian pilgrims head to the readers of Hajj 1401

Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs advised the readers of the Hajj 1401 seize the opportunity and make the best of it; moment to moment.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab who was speaking online on Wednesday (Khordad 4) among the readers of Hajj 1401, told a narration from the Holy Prophet (PBUH) about the true readers of Qur'an and said: Reading the Qur'an is desirable when it is accompanied by cheerfulness and contemplation in meanings, humility of heart and inner purity, and also the reader himself should follows the Qur'an and uses it.

Stating that the intention of closeness is the most important issue that can be effective and efficient in the spiritual trip of Hajj and could increase the respect of the reciter, asked the reciters to appreciate this divine blessing in order to have a proper place in society and among the people.

Emphasizing on using all opportunities in this spiritual trip, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs added: the readers of the Quran should take this opportunity and use it from moment to moment in the best way so that they do not regret it later.

Saying that the title of Qur'an reciter should not prevent them from serving the pilgrims, he said: a person can be a Qur'an reciter and also a servant of pilgrims; so should not wait for the facilities to be provided.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated: the title of pilgrim's servant is valuable when doing your best  and do something that make the Qur'anic programs better, even put your hand on your chest and greet the pilgrims.

Saying that the pilgrims are the guests of God and we are their servants, he advised: be careful that being a reciter of the Qur'an does not deprive you of more oblations and do not be satisfied with the titles you have.

Pointing out that many pilgrims at the meeting are families of martyrs, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs advised Quran readers to give the oblations of their recitation to the holy souls of martyrs and the Imam of Martyrs and mention the Supreme Leader at this ceremony.

He emphasized on reciting the Qur'an in the caravans, attending meetings on time, observing the time of recitation and choosing the appropriate verses and added: determine the appropriate verses, especially verses from Surah Ibrahim and Hajj; mark and use some verses from Surah Baqarah, Surah safat about Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Ismaeel (AS) and some other verses related to Hajj.

Communicating with non-Iranian pilgrims, attending Quran recitation circles in caravans and the Prophet's Mosque and Masjid al-Haram and recitation among Sunni brothers in coordination with the International deputy of Supreme Leader Delegation Office were other recommendations of Hojjat al-Islam and Navvab to Quran reciters.

Choosing the most appropriate methods of recitation, dressing and adornment, attending Quranic programs and meetings on time, and being constantly present at work were other points that Hojjat al-Islam Navvab advised Quran reciters to pay attention so that when present in public, people are completely satisfied with their appearance, recitation and character.

Head of the Iranian pilgrims also instructed the Qur'anic reciters to be humble towards the pilgrims of the House of God and present in the land of revelation with full planning and work together to register an important and effective memorial for recording Qur'anic programs in the Prophet’s Mosque and Masjid al-Haram.

Before the Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs speech, executive deputy of Supreme Council of Qur’an explained the plans for dispatching Qur’anic convoy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Hajj al-Tamttu’ 1401 and said: after the election of Qur’anic caravan members of the Islamic Republic of Iran titled “Caravan of Light”, preparations for sending these friends are being made by the Supreme Leader Delegation Office.
