The slogan "I am from Hossein", which is chosen for this year's Arbaeen ceremony, is all-encompassing and comprehensive, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs said.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, one of the characteristics of a good slogan is to be all-encompassing, wise and Included large populations, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab added Monday (Khordad 23) at the unveiling ceremony of the slogan of Arbaeen 1401 ceremony in the Vahdat Hall of Supreme Leader Delegation Office.
Pointing out that having social acceptance is another feature of a good slogan, he said: the slogan "I am from Hossein", which is one of the great prophet of Islam’s hadith and is considered as the slogan of this year's Arbaeen Husseini ceremony, has all these features.
Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs said: this slogan is engraved on the entrance of the Imam Hossein (AS) shrine and considering that it is the word of the Prophet (PBUH), also has a social comprehensiveness.
He mentioned the time pervasiveness as another feature of a good slogan and added: a good slogan should not be disposable and should include different time periods. This year's slogan of Arbaeen Hosseini will not be limited to Arbaeen and can be used at any time.
Noting that this year's slogan of Arbaeen Hosseini is inspired by the words of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH), Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: This is the motto of a perfect human being who says based on the holy hadith of God: If it were not for the blessed existence of that Hazrat, I would not have created the universe.
Stating that the slogan should be purposeful and pursue different goals, he said: the slogan depicts human policy and is sometimes used in battle and war and sometimes in connection with achieving collective goals.
He pointed to the importance of choosing a slogan effects in Islam and added: "choosing a good and effective slogan has been considered by Islam, so that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in many wars, including the Uhud battle chose a very clear slogan against the slogans of enemies and announced that the enemy's slogan was suppressed.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added: or, for example, in the conquest of Mecca, the Prophet of Islam chose and announced the slogan "we are really the servants of God."
Pointing out that slogan is also used in the flags of countries and achieving goals with a cultural appendix becomes a slogan, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs added: at the center of the Islamic Republic of Iran flag, the word “God” has been placed as a valuable target and in its subtraction, the sentence "there is no God except Allah”, has been used.
Independence, freedom and the Islamic Republic are among the slogans of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is one of the richest slogans in the world and has clearly stated the goals and policies of the country in social and international affairs.
Referring that some countries in the world have even used religious and belief slogans and consider these slogans valuable, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: in the United States, for example, there is a "we believe in God" slogan, but the government's actions show that the only thing they do not believe in is God.
He said: "only the truth is victorious" was one of India's slogans, adding that the actions of some countries show that the policies of these countries are far from their slogans.
