"Palestine; duties of the Islamic Ummah and its obstacles" conference
"Palestine; duties of the Islamic Ummah and its obstacles" was held by Supreme Leader Delegation Office and with the presence of Baitullah Al-Haram pilgrims from different Islamic countries.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, In line with this year's Hajj al-Tamattu’ slogan titled "Hajj; Self-improvement, cohesion, Islamic authority and defense of the Al-Aqsa Mosque", Balad al-tayeb Hotel in mecca hosted the guests of the "Palestine; duties of the Islamic Ummah and its obstacles" conference last day (Tir 13) which was organized by Supreme Leader Delegation Office.
In a message for this conference, referring to the key guidelines of Supreme Leader of the Revolution regarding the relations between the Zionist regime with Arab and Islamic countries, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab emphasized on explaining two axes of "cultural, political and military risks of normalizing relations" and "the effects of American pressure as the main factor in establishing relations" in all propaganda and media actions.
In this message which was read by Supreme Leader Delegation Office's deputy on international affairs Hojjat al-Islam Ali Khayyat , Head of the Iranian pilgrims emphasized the worldly Hajj Congress is a complete manifestation and expression of religious behavior and unity of Muslims in all fields. No rites and rituals can awaken the dormant forces of the Islamic Ummah in the path of reviving Islamic values and fighting against the plagues and ancient enemies like Hajj.
At the end, referring to the Supreme Leader of Revolution's emphasis that no disturbance should be brought to Muslims unity, he insisted that broader planning and measures should be taken to prove the benefits of convergence and expressing the harms and dangers of divergence and separation of the Islamic Ummah ranks, and while enlightening, a broad front of unificationist thinkers and activists should be formed.
In the following, the scientific secretary of the conference Mohammad Hadi Falahzadeh explained the topics and axes of speeches and the necessities of holding this ceremony in Hajj al-Tamattu’.
At the beginning of the first panel, Jihad Khatib one of the Palestinian social activists, Abdallah Awatara Friday prayers Imam of Ivory Coast, and Mrs. Fatemeh Al-Zahra a university lecturer from Mauritania, gave speeches on the duties of Islamic Ummah regarding Palestine.
Chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Seyyed Sadegh Hosseini was the next speaker of the conference who, after explaining the need to address the Palestine and Quds issue , spoke about the necessity to use spiritual, financial and strategic power and capacities for unity against the Zionist regime.
In the second panel of the conference, Salma Yuron an engineer and religious missionary from Turkey, Molyadi Kartangara professor of Jakarta University in Indonesia, and Mustafa Adam a law student from Nigeria were among the speakers.
Arzoo Argon biology specialist and lecturer at the University of Turkey, Anwar Salaf al-ddin professor of Galijaga University, Seyted Maryam from Niger and Seyyed Fatemeh from Pakistan were among the speakers of next panel who discussed the role of Islamic Ummah in defending Palestine.
At this conference which was presented in Arabic, English and Farsi, a large number of pilgrims from Pakistan, Turkey, India, Indonesia and other Asian and African countries participated and emphasized on the necessity of preserving the Palestinian cause.
