Hajj officials positive assessment on Tashriq operation
Surveys and field observations indicate high percentage of pilgrims' satisfaction with the plans for Tashriq days, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs said.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held today on Mecca under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and Head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
Despite the hardships of this year's Hajj, with the efforts and sympathy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and also Supreme Leader Delegation Office officials, there has been no disruption in the process of Hajj 1401 and the assessments has been positive so far, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab added.
Hajj organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office have a common goal and that is to provide good service to the pilgrims who have been waiting for years to visit the land of revelation, he said.
In the continuation of this meeting, chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Seyed Sadegh Hosseini reported on the reviews and assessments regarding the Tashriq days in order to gain more satisfaction of pilgrims and said: the average of opinions on transportation, accommodation, information, support and supplies, nutrition, the performance of guides and the medical complex show more than 90% satisfaction, but we must try to eliminate the shortcomings, of course, some of the shortcomings are out of the responsibility of Hajj and pilgrimage organization.
Head of the Mecca Headquarters Mr. Akbar Rezaei also presented at the meeting a report on the implementation of plans for transferring pilgrims to the holy Masha'ers and return from the land of Mina to Mecca and also the process of cooperation and interaction of the company in charge of Iranian pilgrims.
Some of the services that were presented in the Mesar system as special services for pilgrims were not welcomed by pilgrims and they were not satisfied, he added.
Stating that the first convoys will depart from mecca to medina tomorrow morning (Tir 22), head of the Mecca headquarters said: The first flights from Jeddah and Madinah airports to our country will take place on Tir 23 and 27.
On the first day, we will have five flights to Tehran and Tabriz, which will increase to 7 flights in the following days, and will also increase to 12 flights daily after the departure of pilgrims from Medina, Mr. Rezaei added.
Stating that the return flights from the Land of Revelation will take 17 days, he said: the last flight from Jeddah airport to Iran will be on Mehr 7 and from Medina airport, one day later (Mehr 8).
Appreciating the efforts in Hajj 1401, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs asked executive authorities to extract effective factors in gaining pilgrims' satisfaction, considering the lack of change in the organization's deputies between this Hajj and the previous Hajj, so that it can be considered in future planning.
Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Hossein Rokn al-Dini also mentioned at the meeting on the importance of coordination between manager and clergy of the caravan in execution of programs during the days of Tashriq and the transfer of pilgrims within the framework of sharia issues to Masha'ers and returning to mecca and said: It is necessary for the subgroup to act according to the decisions and coordination between executive and cultural officials.
Chief of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center Dr. seyyed Ali Marashi also presented at this meeting a report on the activities carried out during the days of Tashriq and the agreements between the heads of Saudi Arabia and Iran Red Crescent Society in order to use the facilities of the host country in transporting sick Iranian pilgrims to Saudi hospitals.
Mr. Seyyed Ramezan Mousavi Moghaddam also enumerated the activities of Iranian TV and Radio media team during the Hajj 1401 in the form of producing news, TV and Radio reports and cyberspace reports.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also expressed hope the spiritual trip to the land of revelation will continue well and pilgrims will return to the Islamic country of Iran with peace and an unforgettable memory.
