Responsibility of intellectuals in the society is serious
Stating that the responsibility of educated people in the society is serious, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs said: it has been quoted Imam Sadiq (AS) saying that the sins of ignorant people are written for scientists and scholars.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, at the meeting of scientific consensus of Sunni scholars and intellectuals on Thursday (Tir 23), which was held at the Violet Hotel, Mecca, Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab added: according to Imam Sadiq (AS), sometimes a person commits a sin directly and knowingly, but sometimes a person commits a sin due to ignorance and the fact that the other person has not clarified the sin for him.
Insisting that scientists, scholars and intellectuals should make people aware of the consequences of sins and behaviors that lead them to sins, he added: If we look, the society is classified into three groups in terms of knowledge: low, medium and intellectual. However, God does not treat them the same, and will ask them based on their authority and responsibility.
According to Imam Sadiq (AS), the scholars and intellectuals are accountable before God if they fail to fulfill their duties, which may lead to committing sins by others, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs emphasized.
We all are the audience of this speech of Imam Sadiq (AS) in a way and it includes Shia and Sunni, he clarified.

God granted martyr Qasem Soleimani a place for this reason and his body was buried with the large presence of people, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said.
We are all responsible for our duties and we hope that God will allow us to be conscientious and not fail to fulfill our duties, he added.
