Iranian Quran Expert Attending Russia Int’l Contest as Arbiter
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Master Abbas Emamjome from Iran is in Moscow serving as a member of the panel of judges in the international Quran competition of Russia.
He is a prominent Quran expert who has served as a judge in various national and international Quran contests so far.
Emamjome and Quranic figures from Bahrain, Morocco, Turkey, and Russia form the competition’s panel of judges.
The 17th edition of Russia’s international Quran contest got underway in the capital city of Moscow on Thursday.
28 Quran reciters and memorizers from 28 countries are attending the Quranic event, which will run until Monday.
Iran’s representative Mahdi Saed performed his recitation in the competition on Saturday.
