Head of the Iranian pilgrims:
God's grace included us in successful Hajj

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, arriving Iran on Tuesday evening (Mordad 4), Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab said to the reporters at the Imam Khomeini (RA) airport pavion regarding the Hajj 1401 that despite the concerns related to the Hajj and after two years coronavirus pandemic, this year's Hajj was organized very well thanks to God.

Stating that the prayers of believers definitely were very effective in holding Hajj rituals, he added: both Hajj preaching programs and programs related to the Qur'an and Ma’aref were held very well in this year's Hajj.

The pilgrims participated in all programs by God’s grace; both the spiritual programs of Arafah prayer and Kumayl prayer in Medina and Mecca, and the good program of polytheists acquittal which was attended by a large number of pilgrims.

Communication with other countries’ pilgrims was done well, both at the level of pilgrims and missionaries and people who were foreign languages fluent and could communicate, Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs added.

The small number of pilgrims was one of the characteristics of this year's Hajj. Hajj was held with 45% capacity of pilgrims compared to previous years. In previous years, more than two million pilgrims participated, but this year there were less than one million pilgrims; because some small countries could not participate in this year's Hajj programs due to the increase in Hajj expenses, he said.

By God’s grace, the weather was very favorable during this year's Hajj, especially for the day of Arafah, there were concerns that temperature was suitable on that day thanks to God and programs were organized well, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated.

Stating that the number of pilgrims who died this year there were very few compared to the previous years, he added: all these are indication of holding a Hajj with all its necessary features and occasions, and God willing, the rest of the pilgrims will return to the Islamic homeland in the coming days.

In another part of his speech, head of the Iranian pilgrims said: issues that Supreme Leader had been said, including Quranic topics and Quran familiarization circle were implemented in this year's Hajj. Even joint meetings with pilgrims from other countries were held which was a new program.

At the same time, carrying out some of his instructions in this year's Hajj it was not possible, including shortening the length of the journey; because in addition to the airline that had to announce its readiness in advance, the pilgrims also had to make plans for return, which was not possible to change for this year, but God willing, this will be done next year, he added.

Marketing and condemning that were among the other points in the Supreme Leader's speech ; of course, in such issues and policies, all countries should be coordinated so that, God willing, the concerns and guidelines of the Supreme Leader will be realized, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said.

Regarding the desired use of Salam Terminal in Imam Khomeini(RA) Airport City, he said: the terminal, which was prepared by God's grace, is very suitable for Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage programs and the services which provided for the pilgrims are among the very good services.

Referring to the cultural programs of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization at the Salam Terminal, Head of the Iranian pilgrims pointed to the narrative program for pilgrims and said: these are very helpful for pilgrims and at the beginning of the trip, they can provide the basis for decision-making and planning for Pilgrim.

We have organized similar programs at the big cities’ airport and we hope, God willing, with the help of the dears in the airport city, this program will be carried out in other airports where it is needed, so that pilgrims can benefit from their programs before traveling, he said.

Stating that Salam Hall was optimally used in the last Hajj, hojjat al-Islam Navvab added that this hall was also used for this year's Hajj, which was very pleasant and positive and I hope that God will give more success to our friends.
