Pre-registration of over two million applicants for Arbaeen pilgrimage
Since the beginning of pre-registration process, about two million and 40 thousands people have registered in the Samah system.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab. It was announced at the meeting that the pre-registration process of Arbaeen travel applicants will continue in the coming days and over 1,140,000 applicants have finalized their registration process.
The meeting continued with the report of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization deputy in Atabat affairs Hojjat al-Islam Sohbatollah Rahmani who said that the Moukebs of organizers of caravans of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization will be set up along borders and at some airports with the basis of guiding the pilgrims.
Chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Dr. Seyed Sadegh Hosseini said at this meeting that 400 organizers of the organization have been dispatched to Iraq while 200 others in the country will provide services to Arbaeen pilgrims.
Dr. Hosseini said that in Mena Hosseiniya in Mehran also a place has been considered for welcoming the pilgrims and in collaboration with Astan Qods Razavi a total of 100,000 portions of food will be cooked as some foods will be distributed in Iran and others in Iraq.
Chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also pointed to the launching of Ziarat (pilgrimage) system during this week and its capabilities, and said, “The pilgrims by using this system can gain access to the list of Moukebs and guidance and rescue stations, as well as their services.”
Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab during the meeting lauded the efforts conducted for facilitating Arbaeen pilgrimage and enumerated the different conditions of this year’s Arbaeen as compared with last year’s.
He expressed hope that with the efforts of all organization, this year’s Arbaeen will be managed in the best possible manner with presence of millions of pilgrims of Imam Hossein (AS) and the pilgrims will make a return to their Islamic country after benefiting from this spiritual journey.
