Supreme Leader’s Representative in Hajj: Mena Martyrs Enjoy Special Status before Almighty God
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab underlined that the martyrs of Mena have been given a special status by the almighty God.
“The Mena martyrs and martyrs of Masjid al-Haram (the Great Mosque of Mecca) have such a high and noble status that cannot be described and the God has given them such status and position that is particular to His special worshippers,” Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab made the remarks at a ceremony 'White Tulips'.
He pointed out that a series of blessings have been given by the God to all creatures, saying that the God gives some blessings specially to His sincere worshippers such as the blessing to move in the right direction by saying prayers ten times a day.
Pointing out that the prophets, disciples and martyrs are those whom the Almighty God has given all blessings to them, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said, “The martyrs of Mena and Masjid al-Haram (the Great Mosque of Mecca) have a special status that cannot be described and the God has brought them to a status and position which is specific to His sincere worshippers.”
Saying that all martyrs, including those of Mena, expect us to obey the Almighty God, he added that if the views were different in this path, one should refer to illuminated guidelines of God and Prophet of Islam to be able to choose the correct path and remove the problems by using the God’s illuminated path.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out that the quarrels will have bad consequences and while pointed to the recent incidents, said during these incidents the enemy imposed a series of new sanctions against the country and some countries had improper behavior vis-à-vis the Islamic Iran.
The Supreme Leader’s Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs emphasized that under such conditions the martyrs expect that their blood is safeguarded and their path is also defended and the guidelines of religion of equality, friendship and amity are promoted.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out that what happened in the past days was not the correct way to voice the demands, and said that there are problems in every country, but they should be dealt through a proper method and dialogue.
“All those who are living in Muslim countries can control their problems through mutual respect and proper understanding in order to prevent the materialization of the wills and demands of the enemy who is looking for destruction of forces,” he added.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab said that the Mena martyrs had gone to Hajj pilgrimage, but they faced that fate, adding that the mismanagement by those who consider themselves as servants of pilgrims resulted in Mena tragedy.
"Supreme Leader's representative office and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization have served and are serving the families of martyrs and the Mena martyrs are honored every year," he added.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, the ceremony for commemorating the Mena martyrs was held concurrent with other Iranian cities in the presence of noble martyrs families of Mena and officials in Hazrat Abdol Azim Hassani in Shahr-e Rey in Southern Tehran.
During the ceremony for commemorating Mena martyrs families titled 'White Tulips' Supreme Leader’s representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, Guardian of Hazrat Abdol Azim Hassani Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Ali Qazi Askar, Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Seyed Sadeq Hosseini and Deputy Head of Martyrs Foundation Kamyar Saqafi and a number of officials were present and the five families of Mena martyrs were honored and lauded.
