Iranian Pilgrim Jailed, Released by Saudi Arabia Meets Head of Iranian pilgrims

Haj Khalil Dardmand, an Iranian pilgrim detained in Saudi Arabia, met on Monday with Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, upon his arrival in Tehran.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Khalil Dardmand, an Iranian Haji who returned to the country after 80 days of detention in Saudi Arabia, met and talked with Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, at the premises of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
In this meeting, which was attended by Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Dr. Seyed Sadegh Hosseini and a number of officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Khalil Dardmand elaborated on the process of his arrest Masjid al-Haram (the Great Mosque of Mecca), the interrogations and the ordeal during 80 days of his arrest. It was pointed out that during the investigation, many attempts were made to accuse him of unrealistic accusations.
While expressing his satisfaction with the return of the Iranian Pilgrim to the country, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out that some of the actions and follow-ups carried out for his release and return to the Islamic homeland.
Hajj Khalil Dardmand, who accompanied his mother to Mecca was arrested during this year's Hajj rituals for posting his picture while holding photo of martyred Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
He arrived at Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran from one of the Persian Gulf littoral states.
Khalil Dardmand was welcomed by a group of officials of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, the Supreme Leader’s representative in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
