Head of Iranian Hajj Pilgrims Meets Family of Released Hajji

Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab met and talked with the family of Iranian Hajji, Hajj Khalil Dardmand, who was arrested and then released after 80 days by Saudi Arabia.

As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Hojjat ​​al-Islam Navvab, the head of Iranian Hajj pilgrims, visited Hajj Dardmand's house and talked with him and his family on Thursday.


 


During the meeting, Head of Supreme Leader's Representative Office in Isfahan Hojjat al-Islam Mehdi Gorji who accompanied Hojjat al-Islam Navvab congratulated the honorable return of this Iranian pilgrim to the Islamic homeland and said that this is another gold chapter for the noble Iranian nation.


 


Khalil Dardmand's family also thanked the efforts made for releasing the Iranian pilgrim from Al Saud's captivity, which lasted for about 80 days, and appreciated the actions and follow-ups of the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the representative of Head of Iranian Hajj Pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.


 


Iranian Hajj pilgrim Khalil Dardmand, who was along with his mother in Saudi Arabia to carry out Hajj rituals, was arrested due to taking picture in front of Kaaba while showing a photo of Iranian Lieutenant General Martyr Qassem Soleimani.


 


After freedom, Dardmand flied to Tehran via airspace of one of neighboring countries on October 3, where he was warmly welcomed by the Iranian officials and people of Dorcheh region of Isfahan.
