Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Considers Several Land and Air Travel Packages for pilgrims to Atabat

As reported by Hajj Information Base, in Monday’s meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, which was chaired by Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, Deputy Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization for Atabat said that in the new programs for Atabat, making pilgrimage trips cheaper with the aim of attracting high number of Imam Hossein (AS) pilgrims has been prioritized.

Hojjat al-Islam Rahmani, pointing out that in the new period of missions that started after Arbaeen, capacity building has been done to send 42,000 pilgrims, adding: Currently, 6,000 pilgrims are in the form of caravans under the supervision of the Hajj Organization in Iraq and 35 caravans were sent to Atabat today.

He announced the cost of air travel to Atbat in the current situation between ten million and five hundred thousand tomans and eleven million two hundred thousand tomans, and said: the cost of land travel is from three million six hundred thousand to six million tomans and low-cost caravans are also from two million and eight hundred tomans to three million and four hundred thousand tomans.

The Deputy Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also presented a report on the implementation of a new plan for Atabat and the anticipated solutions to solve the identified problems and damages. The Cultural Deputy and Inspection Director of Supreme Leader’s office and the director general of the performance management of the organization also expressed their views in this regard.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also asked the Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization that while over ten months has passed since the implementation of this plan the practical solutions to be implemented to resolve the problems as soon as possible and to provide services in Atabat from companies and capable human resources and suitable software.

He stressed that in order to carry out the necessary measures, the amended plan should be prepared and presented to the Planning Council meeting by the first week of November.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said that with the aim of providing better service to the pilgrims of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization under the guidance of the head of the organization, the new plan should be amended to respect the rights of the pilgrims.

Head of the Arbaeen headquarters of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Vahid Safari, also during the meeting presented a detailed report on the activities and actions carried out in this year's Arbaeen and considered Arbaeen as a cultural and pilgrimage operation, which requires presence in the field and the scene of action.

At the end of this meeting, after hearing the report by the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization about the foreign currency and rial costs of the pilgrims in this year's Hajj, the head of Iranian pilgrims once again reminded the need to follow up on the services that were not received or the services that were provided incomplete.

He emphasized that these cases should be accurately counted in the meetings of experts of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and the representative of the Supreme Leader, and the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization should follow up on these cases through the responsible authorities in Saudi Arabia and defend the rights of Iranian pilgrims.

According to this report, at the beginning of this meeting, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs pointed to the recent riots in the country and the factors behind it, and said that once again the enemies of the system and the revolution with their internal agents and using all kinds of tricks and lies and slanders came to the scene, but whatever they plotted, they did not succeed.

He stated that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that the one who does not speak the truth when he should speak, is a silent devil.

He added that these days are the day of testing and selection, and all those who went along with the Supreme Leader and his recommendations are among the selected ones, and the people who sat silent in front of the movement of the rioters and did not condemn it, are considered the ultimate devil according to this narration.

He emphasized that man should defend the truth in the face of the issues that are happening and reject the falsehood. There were not a few individuals who were scandalized during the last four decades and fell out of people's eyes.

The Head of Iranian Hajj pilgrims also called the efforts made to release Hajji Khalil Dardmand, an Iranian pilgrim detained in Saudi Arabia, a duty and said: the detaining country realized its mistake after 80 days and was forced to release him.

He considered the support and defense of fellow countrymen abroad to be the inherent duty of the responsible institutions and stating that there is a difference between duty and spending money, and said that in the case of the release of this Iranian Hajji, no money was paid, and what was done was a duty, and Saudi Arabia also understands that Khalil Dardmand was innocent.
