Supreme Leader’s Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs:
Richer spiritual, scientific load of students, the more guaranteed the religious future of the country
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and Supervisor of Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab referred to the students as the future builders of the country by saying that the richer the spiritual and scientific load of the students is, the more guaranteed the religious future of the country will be.
As reported by Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab attended a meeting of instructors and students of Imam Sadeq (AS) Seminary School of Shariyar city and congratulated them on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Birth Anniversary of Imam Sadeq (AS).
The main key of the presence of students in the seminary is dealing with God, and from the beginning of entering the seminary, they must make a covenant with God and their intentions should be pure.
He considered the pure intention to be the cause of the increase in wealth, and said, “During our lifetime, we have seen many people who, when they worked for God, were honored by the Almighty, and we have also seen great people who, because they did not work for God, became small and they disappeared.”
The Supreme Leader’s Representative recommended the students to have the intention for proximity by doing anything in the seminary and study for the sake of God’s satisfaction, and said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, Work for God, the God will suffice you for all.
“We have seen many times that a person has taken a good step and God has turned hearts towards him, and this point is the key to success. Every student who studies not for the sake of God, but to reach a position and position, must also leave his reputation,” he added.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said that a student who deals with God opens doors for him and makes his movement stable.
The Supreme Leader’s representative pointed out that that the Imam of the Ummah (RA) had divided his plans into main and secondary ones, and said, “Human life is insignificant compared to the antiquity of the earth, during this time we should try to dedicate our lives to the main tasks and the more important tasks. Choose and do it and prioritize the main work over the secondary work.
He stated that the priority of the students should be learning the teachings of religion, self-improvement and have good morals, and added, “There were people who were in a high position in terms of science, but they fell due to lack of self-improvement.”
Pointing out that the Imam of the Ummah avoided being praised by others, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said that the late Imam (RA) had made himself a person and the day he entered this land, a crowd welcomed him, but when he passed away a country attended his funeral ceremony.
He stressed the necessity of paying attention to time management, punctuality and planning, and by mentioning this hadith from the Holy Prophet (PBUH) who said: Whoever has a good door opened for him, he should take it as a prize; because he doesn't know when the door will be closed at him.
He added that now that you have the opportunity of youth, use it well and consider time management and planning as important.
Saying that the Imam of the Ummah wrote a letter to Gorbachev in the best time, the Supreme Leader’s Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage said, the late Imam (RA) was a time-keeper and planner, and these characteristics were clearly evident in his behavior and actions.
He recalled the importance of humbleness and politeness by saying that humbleness brought the prophet to the top, and said, “Establish this importance in your existence as a servant of the religion and in your existence. As martyr Rajaei said “we are nobody” and also said whenever the people saw that the position of the president had changed Rajaei they should had remind him that in his youth he was a vendor so that he would not be filled with pride.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed to examples of the Imam's humbleness and by stating that the Imam had a special respect for his teacher, he considered it a sign of the Imam's politeness, modesty and humbleness and asked the students to strengthen these qualities in themselves from a young age.
“Americans say that we plan carefully and implement it, but with one word of the leader of Iran, all our plans fall apart,” he added.
He pointed out that the Imam of the Ummah was humble, and God helped him, and the complex plans of the enemies against Islamic Iran ended in failure.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also considered simple living as essential for the students of seminaries, and said, “If the student does not live a simple life, he cannot be a role model for others. The Imam of the Ummah lived in a house in an alley in Najaf Ashraf, and in Iran he did not allow them to repair even the Hosseinieh Jamaran.
At the end of his speech, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab advised the students to be neat in appearance, peace of mind, courage and truth-telling, and said that examples of truth-telling can be seen in the life of the Prophet (PBUH) and Imams, and by reading the book "In the Shadow of the Sun" written by Hojjat al-Islam Rahimian about the life of Imam they can learn many lessons.
