Meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader's Representative Office and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization
The meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Representative Office and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was held with the presence of the Hajj officials.
According to the Hajj information base, the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Representative Office and the Organization of Hajj and Pilgrimage was held today under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage and the head of Iranian pilgrims.
In this meeting, Seyed Sadeq Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, pointed out the good reception of the pilgrims for dispatch until December 21 and announced the registration of more than 90,000 for dispatch in this period.
He also pointed out the problems that fluctuations in currency prices can cause in air and ground dipatches to Atabat, and he positively evaluated the use of a suitable solution to stabilize the currency price for 45-day rounds of dispatch to Atabat, and said that this action will prevent causing harm which would be welcomed by companies active in this field and and would also be welcome by the pilgrims.
This meeting continued was with a report by Mr. Akbar Rezaei, Deputy Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, on the follow-ups carried out following the recent webinar talks with the Saudi officials regarding the Hajj 1402 Hajj and a report by Dr. Seyed Ali Marashi, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Red Crescent Society regarding the investigations carried out to reduce the number of officials sent to Hajj and provide good and quality services to pilgrims.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, meantime, asked the Deputy Head of Hajj and Pilgimage Organization for Hajj and Umrah organization to gather and present the desired points for the future trip of the Iranian delegation to Saudi Arabia in connection with the upcoming Hajj, so that this delegation will be better and more prepared in attend the meeting in Jeddah.
