Dear Qassem Book Unveiled by Hajj Officials
Concurrent with the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Hearts (General Qassem Soleimani), a book entitled Qassem Jan (Dear Qassem) which tells the story of the youth of the martyr Hajj Qasim Soleimani was unveiled in a ceremony attended by the representative of the legal guardian in matters of Hajj and Pilgrimage.
According to the Hajj Information Base, on the third anniversary of the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Hajj Qassem Soleimani, the unveiling ceremony of the book Qassem Jan was held in the presence of Hojjat al-Islam Navvab and Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Seyed Sadeq Hosseini, as well as book writers and cultural, seminary and university activists was held on Tuesday afternoon (January 3) in the hall of unity of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
In the book, which was published in 56 pages by the efforts of Mashaar Cultural and Art Institute, written by Parviz Amini and illustrated by Mohammad Reza Dost Mohammadi. An attempt has been made to tell a short story about the childhood of the great martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani and his journey as a teenager from Rabar region to Kerman city.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab called the publication of such works in the field of children and teenagers as a valuable step for the dynamism of these generations, and said, "We are trying to cooperate with education and develop other works from the memories of teenagers and young people. Pilgrimage trips in the Holy Shrine should be edited and made available to those who are interested."
He recalled the words of Imam Khomeini (RA), who said, "Kill us, our nation will become more awake."
"Today, with the martyrdom of the resistance leader Haj Qassem Soleimani, the whole world has woken up and witnessed the display of devotion. Hundreds of thousands of people in Kerman visit the shrine of this honorable man and hold magnificent rituals in Iran and abroad, including in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Russia and Pakistan, and this wave is spreading day by day, God willing will destroy the palace of oppression," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.
He spoke about the writing of about 600 volumes of books related to Hajj Qassem and referring to a narration from the Holy Prophet (PBUH) about patriotism, and said, "Love for the homeland and interest in the birthplace where a person is born. We also witness that it existed in the statement of Imam Ali (AS) and Hajj Qassem Soleimani also asked his body to be buried in Kerman next to a martyr who was on the front line."
He continued to mention the words of the Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Sajjad (AS) in his introduction and, said, "The the great martyrs of the holy defense are buried in their homeland because they want this sun and symbol to be a beacon of light for future generations in that region and have called others to show devotion to that area.
At the end of his speech, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab lauded the efforts of those involved in preparing and writing the book Qassem Jan and mentioned it as a good and constructive work for the youth who need such stories to be told to them.
Based on this report, Hojjat al-Islam Hadi Akbari, the CEO of Masha'ar Publishing Institute, pointed out the reasons for writing the book Qassem Jan and its features, and said, "This book contains more than 15 religious titles and concepts and depicts religious rituals."
Parviz Amini, the writer, called the writing of the book Qassem Jan the result of three years of research work, and said, "This book was supposed to be written before the martyrdom of Haj Qassem Soleimani, which was delayed for some reasons, and today, with the efforts and support that took place it will be published.
