Hazrat Fatemeh (SA); Role Model for Imam Mahdi (AS)
Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab in a ceremony to commemorate the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima (SA) and on the occasion of Women's Day said Imam Mahdi (AS) introduces Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA) as his model in how to interact with the society.
According to Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab delivered a speech on the characteristics and virtues of Hazrat Zahra (SA) during the celebration ceremony held for the employees of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in amphitheater of the organization on the eve of the birth of the blessed daughter of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA) and commemorating the position of women and Mother's Day in the family.
The Supreme Leader's representative pointed to the famous saying from Imam Mahdi (AS) who said that "I have a good example in the daughter of the Messenger of God", adding that "Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA) is a knowledgeable person".
Hojjat al-Islam also pointed to the virtues of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA), and said that Hazrat was guide and supporter of the believers, the people of altruism, benevolent and praying for others, looking forward to future, insistence on guiding the people, making efforts to raise children and taking care of husband without paying attention to materialistic world and affection to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
He explained that Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) was best friend of Imam Ali (AS) in obeying the God.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said that the virtues of Hazrat Fatemeh (AS) were that she undermined the weaknesses and instead focused on the strengths, as well as secrets of prosperity.
He said that the people should help their wives to play roles in the society and reach high levels, specially in terms of moral codes.
The Supreme Leader's representative in another part of his speech, he pointed to the verses 11 and 12 of Tahrim Surah for all believers where the wife of Pharaoh, Asieh, and Saint Mary are named as believers.
And with reference to verse 144 of Surah Al-Imran which said that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is the Most Merciful, and the Most High, and the Most Merciful. "The path of Prophet Mohammad is a clear path for the sake of human beings who believe in God and in the resurrection."
He stated that one who has faith in God and the resurrection, Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) and Prohet Mohammad (PBUH), are his/her models, adding that late Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution have called on people to consider Imam Ali (AS) and Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) as their role models.
