Supreme Leader's Representative: Lecturers Dispatched to Atabat Are Accountable to Innocent Imams to Guide Dear Pilgrims
Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab stressed the necessity for the lecturers sent to the shrines to refrain from discussing controversial and political topics and instead they should guide the pilgrims as they are accountable to the innocent imams.
According to Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab in a discussion meeting with the lecturers and preachers dispatched by the Supreme Leader's office to the cities of Najaf and Karbala said that speakers according to the available capacity in these two holy and pilgrimage cities, by studying the history of Islam and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), guide the pilgrims in front of the infallible imams and avoid discussing controversial and political issues.
He stated that Iranian pilgrims visit the shrines of Imam Ali (AS) and Imam Hossein (AS) and other infallible imams, adding, "Speakers should try to infuse the pilgrims with knowledge and virtue."
Supreme Leader's representative pointed out that the performance of the lecturers and clerics sent to the shrines is evaluated, and said that speakers should express practical matters and religious lifestyle for the use of families, so that the effects of it can be observed in their lives.
The Head of the Iranian pilgrims reminded the necessity of holding a series of specialized meetings to enlighten and increase the awareness of the sermons and lecturers of the programs of the Supreme Leader's representative in Atabat, and said, "In order to provide useful and targeted resources, the book of Rah Tosheh, which contains all historical topics, should be published, morals and traditions of the innocents (peace be upon them) should be prepared with the cooperation of speakers and made available to preachers and clerics sent to the Holy Atabat and pilgrimage caravans.
In another part of his speech, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out some problems caused by the fluctuation of currency prices and said, "This year, the increase in currency prices has caused the planning for Hajj to face some problems. Of course, we are trying to ensure that there is no harm to the operations of sending pilgrims and pilgrims' programs in Mecca and Medina."
He reminded that with the communication and coordination with the relevant institutions and centers and the help of the government departments, we can complete the 1402 Hajj program in a decent manner despite the increase in the price of the currency.
Based on this report, in the continuation of this meeting, a number of preachers and speakers sent by the Supreme Leader's delegation to the two cities of Najaf and Karbala expressed some concerns and problems.
He is responsible for compiling and preparing the complete list of speakers in the country, introducing the companions of Imam Hossein (AS) in the speeches, supervising the caravans that are sent to the shrines outside the framework of the Hajj and pilgrimage organization, and keeping sermons and sermons up-to-date. They emphasized the use of artistic tactics in presenting materials, compiling and publishing a special book for Atabat preachers, avoiding controversial and political content in speeches, and stating Sharia issues before starting the speeches.
