New Deputy Head for International Affairs of Supreme Leader’s Office Appointed
During the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, the new Deputy for International Affairs of the Supreme Leader's Representative office was appointed.
According to Hajj Information Base, the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Representative Office and the Organization of Hajj and Pilgrimage was held under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage and the head of Iranian pilgrims.
During the meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Mansour Mir Ahmadi was introduced as deputy head of the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office for international affairs.
Also during the meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab appreciated the services and efforts of Hojjat al-Islam Ali Khayyat during his tenure as his deputy for international affairs, and expressed hope that Hojjat al-Islam Mir Ahmadi would be successful in effectively carrying out the practical and important missions of this deputyship.
In the continuation of the meeting, Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Seyed Sadeq Hosseini mentioned the follow-ups regarding the future Hajj flights and the allocation of a foreign currency credit line with an approved rate for the upcoming periods of the Atabat Aliat, and announced the dispatch of two groups of experts from Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to Saudi Arabia to follow up on Hajj 1402 in the coming days.
Meantime, Deputy Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization for Hajj and Umrah Akbar Rezaei said that with the dispatch of these two groups of experts, the preparation of the caravans and the registration of the future Hajj pilgrims will be done in the shortest possible time.
He said that following the contacts made with Hajj company and other companies providing Hajj services, the desired service type is being selected and finalized considering the convenience of the pilgrims and in terms of price reduction.
“Considering the preparation of the software required for registration, at the same time as the housing measures are finalized, we will announce the registration in price groups so that the pilgrims of Hajj 1402 can choose their desired caravan,” Rezaei added.
Also during the meeting, Director General of the Office of Plans and Programs, Information Technology and Cyberspace Security of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mehran Farshid presented a detailed report on the software that will be used in the future Hajj operation, and highlighted the importance of renting housing in the decision-making process which will be adopted in connection with the upcoming Hajj.
At the end of this meeting, the Supreme Leader’s representative gave recommendation on how to complete the information of future Hajj pilgrims, the need to use the desired software for the future Hajj before the start of the Hajj operation, the use of new methods in the training of pilgrims in the executive and cultural areas, as well as forecasting pilgrims' disease information registration by the medical center in the software used in the Hajj organization.
