Imam Sajjad (AS) role in preserving religion and the heritage of Imamate

According to the Hajj information base, speaking at the meeting of advising to right among the employees of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and Supreme Leader’s Delegation Office, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab congratulating Shabaniyah feasts, said: in order to preserve the religion and the heritage of Imamate in Imam Ali (AS) generation, God provided ground for Imam Sajjad (AS) in Karbala in a different way, and he played a unique role in that era.

Pointing out examples of God's graces such as preserving the essence of creation, the Prophet of Mercy (PBUH) in the cave of Thor by making nests of pigeons and spider webs, and dissuading the polytheists or grounding the enemy by blowing the wind in the desert of Tabas in the contemporary era, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added: in the case of Karbala, God spared the life of Seyyed Al-Sajedeen so that he could continue the path of Imam Hossein (AS)and be a messenger of that Imam lofty goals.

Referring to the speeches of Imam Zayn al-Abedin (AS) in Yazid's assembly and in front of Ibn Ziyad, he said: God placed this stock to preserve the legacy of Imamate, transfer the rites of Karbala and the event of Ashura and expressing the mission Hazrat Seyyed al-Shohada had put on his shoulders.

Stating that many traditions and prayers, Safiha Sajjadiyyah and treatise on rights have been left by Imam Sajjad (AS), head of the Iranian pilgrims added: some rights include religious obligations, some moral issues, and some customary issues.

In determining the rights that are mentioned in the tract on rights, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab  referred the right of God, right of the ruler, right of body parts, right of worship, right of education, right of slaves and owners, right of the family, social right, right of property and the right of co-religionists and he pointed out the right of Ahl al-Dhimma.

Stating some rights of the organs and body, he said: "the right of soul must be used in the way of obedience to God. The right of language is that one avoiding ugly words and using good speech, language can launch war or create peace.

Stating that the ear is a way to the heart, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said: "one should not allow the words that cause contamination to enter his heart through the ear."

He also pointed to the greatness of eye creation and said: "It is the right of eye not to look at what is not permissible and to follow the right of the leg and step in the right way."

One has to use his own hand to open people's knots and not turn his belly into a container for forbidden (Haram), Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized.
