Ayatollah Reyshahri Put Behind Valuable Services to Commemorate
The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjat al-Islam Abdolfattah Navvab described the former Supreme Leader's representative, the late Ayatollah Reyshahri, as a multi-dimensional personality who left valuable services to his memory.
According to the Hajj Information Base, the commemoration ceremony of the first demise anniversary of Ayatollah Mohammad Mohammadi Reyshahri and honoring the memory of more than 300 servants and veterans of the Hajj and Pilgrimage area, some of whom passed in 1401, were attended by officials today.
A grroup of scholars, dignitaries and academic personalities, as well as the relatives of those deceased attended the ceremony held in the prayer hall of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
In this ceremony, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab honored the memory of 250 clerics and 60 caravan leaders who passed away since the outbreak of the coronavirus, and described Ayatollah Reyshahri as a multi-dimensional personality, each of whose dimentions deserves recognition.
"The late Ayatollah Reyshahri deceased was a distinguished person, a teacher, a role model, and a pioneer and founder in many works," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said.
The Head of Iranian Hajj pilgrims enumerated the activities and services of Ayatollah Reyshahri in the Supreme Leader's representative office, the Ministry of Information, Dar al-Hadith Institute and the University of Quran and Hadith, the development of Abdul Azim Hasani Court and the Attorney General of the country, and said, "The late Ayatollah Reyshahri was very far-sighted and wherever he was present left behind very valuable infrastructure measures.
He added that this prominent jurist worked sincerely for a lifetime and never mentioned these valuable findings and always avoided expressing or promoting them.
At the end, the Supreme Leader's representative referred to the narrations of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Hadi (AS) about sincerity in action and mentioned the memories of some veterans in the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage and their spiritual experiences in this field.
It is worth mentioning that Ayatollah Mohammad Mohammadi Reyshahri, after a lifetime of studying, teaching and researching in seminaries and accepting various responsibilities, on the 1st of Farvardin of 1401 after enduring a period of illness passed away at the age of 75.
