Registration in Hajj Caravans Nearing End of Capacity

Hajj and Umrah Deputy Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Akbar Rezaei announced the completion of the registration process for the Hajj 1402 caravans in the coming days.

According to the Hajj Information Base, the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Representative Office and the Organization of Hajj and Pilgrimage was held under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage and the head of Iranian pilgrims.


During the meeting Rezaei clarified that in this regard, in the registration process there is no particular problem for Hajj pilgrims, and with the announcement of new priorities, the remaining share in some provinces will be completed in the coming days.


"In order to fill the remaining capacity, Hajj documents will be announced on a day-by-day basis, and Hajj and Pilgrimage managers of the provinces will provide information in this regard," he added.


The Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs also called for a more serious follow-up of the matter while referring to the need for faster formation of caravans, completion of the medical examination process and holding of educational classes for pilgrims.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also recommended that a committee of relevant officials be formed in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and the Supreme Leader's office, and the status of the people who have registered for the previous Hajj and currently, due to not being able to go to Hajj, request the handover of documents. They are examining themselves and presenting the appropriate solution to this council.


Based on this report, in this meeting, Dr. Seyed Ali Marashi, head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Red Crescent Society, reported on the process of medical examinations of the pilgrims by 450 doctors affiliated to this center and the measures taken to transfer the medicine needed for the upcoming Hajj while 103 pilgrims have not got the necessary confirmation so far.


This meeting continued with the report of Mr. Vahid Safari, the head of the crisis management staff of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization regarding the structure and committees of this headquarters and planning, and the software used in Hajj 1402.


He emphasized educational videos and clips and accompanying managers of collections and caravans to justify the pilgrims given the high percentage of adult pilgrims.


This report indicates that in this meeting, Seyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also mentioned the signing of the Hajj air operations contract with the airline and said that the accommodation committee has also started its activity to finalize the remaining housing rental required for the upcoming Hajj.
