Iran's airports police commander meets head of the Iranian pilgrims

Iran's airports police commander met with Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims. Two sides discussed the measures to carry out the operation of transporting pilgrims to the land of revelation in Hajj 1402.

As reported by Hajj Information Base, Iran's airports police commander brigadier general Mohsen Aghili met and discussed today with Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab. The meeting held as the implementation of the upcoming Hajj is approaching,

At the meeting which was attended by the police commander of Imam Khomeini (RA) International Airport Colonel Ismail Kashmiri, referring to the readiness of this complex for dispatching pilgrims to the land of revelation from 21 flight stations in Hajj 1402, general Aghili explained the actions and plans to facilitate the process of transferring and returning pilgrims to the Islamic homeland.

Stating that Iranian pilgrims' quota for this year has increase more than doubled compared to last Hajj, he emphasized on more information and awareness and promoting culture in order to facilitate the process of sending Hajj 1402 pilgrims.

The airports police complex of the country has taken the necessary measures and while honoring pilgrims, is ready to provide service to the pilgrims of Baitullah al-haram, general Aghili stated.

Due to the increase of pilgrims' age in this year's Hajj, we will try to minimize the pilgrims' stop at flight stations and have a secure and peaceful dispatching by providing the necessary training, sending text messages and even in-person explanations before flight, he added.

Emphasizing on honoring pilgrims and preserving their dignity, head of the Iranian pilgrims praised the measures of airport police last year in transferring and returning pilgrims and called for improving services and protecting the rights of pilgrims, and providing the necessary facilities in the process of dispatching pilgrims.

Stating that informing pilgrims can reduce their difficulties in dispatching them to the target countries, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added: public opinion is concentrated on the way the airport police deal with pilgrims.

Police measures are important to maintain the safety and dignity of pilgrims and the country's reputation and at the same time, the more justification for pilgrims has a more effect on removing ambiguities and increasing the satisfaction of pilgrims.
