Iranian Pilgrims' Flights to Jeddah Airport Started

The flights of Iranian pilgrims to Jeddah started on Saturday morning.

According to the Hajj Information Base, the first flight of Iranian pilgrims arrived at Jeddah airport this Saturday morning (Khordad 13) from West Azarbaijan province, and thus the flights to Medina started later.

Gholamreza Rezaei, Deputy Director of Hajj and Umrah, Naser Havizavi, Director of the Supreme Leader's Representative Office in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Saudi Arabia, and the officials of Manasik Al-Masher Company and Vokala Al-Movahed Company, who are responsible for providing services to Iranian pilgrims in Mecca and holy places, welcomed the pilgrims of this convoy at Jeddah Airport.

According to the Deputy of Hajj and Umrah Organization of Hajj and Pilgrimage, this caravan of 210 people arrived in Jeddah from West Azerbaijan through Urumia Airport.

"In addition to the flights to Medina, 7 flights from Iran will arrive at Jeddah airport from today, and this number will reach a maximum of 10 flights per day, and 1,750 to 2,000 pilgrims will visit Medina every day and they will depart for Mecca from Miqat Johfa," he added.

Rezaei announced the creation of a rest stop called Noura to welcome Iranian pilgrims who enter Saudi Arabia through Jeddah and said, "Caravans that enter Jeddah Airport from 3:00 am to 9:00 a.m."

Gentlemen go to Noura rest stop (which is located on the way from Jeddah Airport to Johfa) where they stop for reception and rest, and women also go directly from Jeddah Airport to Miqat Johfa and after becoming Muhrem, they leave for Mecca. Of course, Sunni caravans are directly transferred from Jeddah to their place of residence in Mecca.

It should be mentioned that in order to answer the religious questions and explain the rules of Hajj Tamattu for the pilgrims, the clerics of the Cultural Deputy Head of the Supreme Leader's representative office have been stationed in Miqat al-Johfa.

"Representatives of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization are stationed 24 hours a day at Jeddah Airport to provide services to pilgrims. Also, in addition to the caravan manager and chaplain, Hajj and Ziarat organization forces have been stationed in Johfa to guide the pilgrims.

The Hajj and Umrah deputy of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization said that "from today, with the start of the flights of the caravans from Medina, the number of Iranian pilgrims in the Land of Revelation will increase significantly, and between 4,500 and 5,000 people will enter Mecca from Jeddah and Medina every day".

It should be mentioned that in this year's Hajj Tamattu, 87,550 Iranian pilgrims will go to the land of revelation, and the flights of Iranian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia will continue until Tir 1 .
