Hojjat al-Islam Navvab Meets Iranian Pilgrims in Miqat Shajarah

Supreme Leader's Representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah  Navvab met and talked with Iranian pilgrims who had come to this Miqat Shajarah Mosque to put on Ihram.

According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab along with Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Seyed Abbas Hosseini went to Masjid al-Shajrah (Shajarah Mosque) on Saturday (13 Khordad) and met and held talks with the pilgrims who visited this place.

Shajarah Mosque is the Miqat where the pilgrims of the old Medina become mohrem and go to Mecca. A number of Ihram-wearing pilgrims expressed their gratitude to Hojjat al-Islam Navvab for the field visit of the implementation of the Hajj operation.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab performed Isha prayer together with Iranian pilgrims in the Shajarah Mosque and then observed food services to the pilgrims at the station where he visited the place which is the stopping place of the pilgrims to eat before arriving in Mecca.

Masjid Shajarah means ‘Moque of the tree’ and is located opposite Masjid al-Jinn. It marks the spot from where the Prophet (PBUH) called a tree and it came to him.

When the Prophet (PBUH) did so, the tree came to him and greeted him with Salam. He then instructed it to return and it duly complied.
