Pilgrims Chanted Verses of Arafat Prayer in Desert of Arafat
Tens of thousands of Iranian pilgrims of Baitullah Al-Haram in the land of Arafat chanted the Arafat prayer with love.
According to the Hajj Information Base, the Arafat prayer ceremony was held in the desert of Arafat with the enthusiastic presence of the pilgrims of Baitullah Al-Haram on Tuesday afternoon (Tir 6) in an atmosphere full of spirituality in the Supreme Leader's tent.
In this ceremony, which was attended by Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, head of Iranian pilgrims, Mr. Seyed Abbas Hosseini, Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Pir Hossein Kolivand, Head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, Hasan Zarangar, Head of the Iranian Embassy in Saudi Arabia, and a group of martyrs' families people chanted Arafat prayers with the voice of Haj Abbas Heydarzadeh and Mehdi Sarvari in an atmosphere full of spirituality.
The Arafat prayer ceremony, which is Imam Hussein's (AS) farewell to Hajj, was also held in other tents of Iranian pilgrims in the land of Arafat.
The speaker of the Arafat prayer ceremony was Hojjat al-Islam Nasser Rafiee, who first spoke about the importance and characteristics of the Arafat prayer and compared the value of the day of Arafat with the night of Qadr.
Hojjat al-Islam Rafiee, who spoke before the start of the Arafat prayer ceremony for the Iranian pilgrims present in the Supreme Leader's Representative tent, emphasized that a person should not despair and hope without effort is not good.
He pointed to passages from the Arafat prayer, and said, "The most important message of Arafat prayer is hope. Man should hope because hope is the basis of movement and it is mentioned in many verses."
The Supreme Leader's representative emphasized that a person should not place disappointment in his body and soul, and pointed out that the worst pain for a person is disappointment.
He named another feature of Arafat prayer as the "repentance" of the servants, and said, "People should be encouraged to repent. If a person commits a sin or a mistake and has the opportunity to pray two rokats, he can repent and give up that sin."
Hojjat al-Islam Rafiee stated that no one is as close to man as God and he should ask him to answer his prayers.
The Arafat prayer ceremony ends before sunset and the pilgrims prepare to go to the Sacred Mosque.
This year, about two million and three hundred thousand pilgrims are present in the land of Arafat, and every day they prayed and pray in a corner of this land.
