Hojjat al-Islam Navvab: Preserving religion in trouble has a double reward with God
The fact that a person can maintain his religion and faith in difficult conditions and hardships, has double reward with God, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab said.
According to the Hajj information base, stating that we are living in a period where we have more difficult conditions to preserve our faith than our fathers, Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab said in a meeting with a group of Shiites living in Europe that history has shown believers have always endured hardships to maintain their faith and religion. Even some prophets suffered a lot of hardship to preserve the religion and Sharia because the people were not guided.
Pointing out and emphasizing on stating of Hazrat Ali (A.S), Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said that if hardships are increasing on you and the followers of truth are decreasing, do not feel afraid and helpless because God is there and will help you in all situations.
Referring the difficult path of Imam Khomeini (RA) for the success of Islamic Revolution as a model, he said: many did not know the Imam in Iran. He was unjustly imprisoned and exiled to Turkey and Iraq, but was not afraid and did not panic, and on the other hand, returned to the country with honor and authority by resisting and implementing divine orders.
Victory belongs to those who is steadfast in the way of God and helps God's religion. Whoever tries will get results and whoever helps God's religion, God will help him, he emphasized.
Addressing the gathering of Shiites living in Europe, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said: despite all the hardships that exist in European countries, you maintain your faith and this will be rewarded in the eyes of the Great God many times over and compared to those who Living in religious cities will be different.
Head of the Iranian pilgrims then asked those who was presented at this meeting if they had any questions. A pilgrim asked, "How can we maintain our faith in a city that does not have a mosque?" Hojjat al-Islam Navvab answered: Keeping religion is not dependent on having a mosque. A person can have a certain place for worship in his house. Surely, God gives the reward of the mosque to his servant. It is important that a person obeys the orders of God, the Messenger of God and Imams (peace be upon them) and implements their orders in his life.
