Unity, spirituality and ethics; the proud foundations of the Islamic world

Head of the Iranian pilgrims at the meeting of the Sunni definitive rulings Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office called unity, spirituality and morality as the proud foundations of the Islamic world.

According to the Hajj information base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab who spoke at the gathering of this council members in Mecca called deep unity and brotherhood between Sunni and Shia brothers one of the proud foundations of the Islamic world and added: the Prophet wish is that the believers have brotherhood with each other.

Referring to the axes of the Supreme Leader's message at the ceremony of polytheists acquittal, he listed unity and spirituality as the two main axes of this message.

Stating that the late Hojjat al-Islam Abu Torabi is one of the pioneers in the unity of the Islamic world, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab shared a memory of him in the field of Muslim unity and said: "Hojjat al-Islam Abu Torabi was severely tortured by the Baathist forces during his captivity. As it is said he became numb due to the severity of the torture.

The Red Cross was supposed to visit the camp where Mr. Abu Torabi was imprisoned; The officials of the camp were worried about the presence of Red Cross and were afraid that their reputation would be ruined if Seyyed opened his mouth. With the identification made by the Red Cross, they came to Seyyed and asked him about the condition of the camp. Mr. Abu Torabi did not say anything negative about the camp.

This reaction of Sayyed Abu Torabi made the camp officials surprised. After the Red Cross left, they said to Mr. Abu Torabi, we tortured and harassed you, why didn't you complain; The late Abu Torabi said: I do not take the complaint of a Muslim to an infidel.

Referring to this memory, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said: this issue is a lesson for everyone involved. They should remember that they should not complain to the infidels.

In another part of his speech, Supreme Leader's representative pointed to the role of virtual space in today's world and said: "Clergy" should not be far from virtual space because it should respond to the needs of society.

Head of the Iranian pilgrims also explained about the length of pilgrims stay in Medina and said: in the past, when it was possible to accommodate pilgrims in non-hotel buildings, pilgrims stayed in Medina for about 12 days, but the host country announced after 1385 that pilgrims should be located in the central circle and in hotels.

Considering that many hotels around Masjid al-Nabi have been destroyed and some hotels are closed due to disputes or repairs, therefore, the rental fee of hotels in Medina has increased sharply, he said.

Head of the Hajj operations headquarters Gholamreza Rezaei also answered the question why Iranian pilgrims were sent to perform Rami Jamarat in the hot weather and said: about one million pilgrims did not have tents in the land of Mena; therefore, the host country announced that it cannot set a time for these pilgrims (to throw stones in Jamarat and leave Mena).

According to the experience of previous years, such a decision was taken so that no accident would happen to the pilgrims, because in practice it was not possible to stop the crowd and provide space and conditions for the pilgrims who were staying in tents, Rezaei said.

Considering these conditions, we requested to leave for Jamarat at 8 instead of 10, which was finally agreed to at 9, he added.

Stating that the Supreme Leader Delegation Office always recommends that the laws of host country should be respected, Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization's deputy in Hajj and Umrah affairs noted that: nearly 90 countries have official contracts with Saudi Arabia during Hajj; and this shows that in order to prevent incidents and events, you must be adhere to the rules.
