Head of the Iranian Pilgrims emphasis;
Necessity of get feedback from new programs of this year's Hajj

Stating that some measures were done during this year's Hajj for the first time, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab emphasized at the meeting of Planning and coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization on the necessity to get feedback from the new plans of this year's Hajj.

According to the Hajj information base, referring to the reduction of forces and elimination of some posts among the measures which were taken for the first time in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Medical Center and Supreme Leader Delegation Office in Hajj 1402, Head of Iranian Pilgrims said at the last meeting of Hajj and Pilgrimage officials in the Land of Revelation, which was held on Tuesday (Tir 27) under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Navvab in Mecca that these programs should be reviewed and get feedback to determine how effective they have been for the well-being of pilgrims.


Assessments will show in which cases changes should be made or the same process must be continued, he added.


Stating that the Supreme Leader Delegation Office has always emphasized that changes in programs should not create a disruption in the activities of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Medical Center and Supreme Leader Mission, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs said: the alphabet of management is authority of managers, and if a manager does not have authority, he cannot perform his duties and responsibilities.


Appreciating the actions of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, Medical Center and Supreme Leader Mission in dispatching more pilgrims in Hajj 1402, he said: this process happened with collective wisdom and planning, and this year 5 more caravans went to Hajj.


Chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Seyyed Abbas Hosseini, reported in the continuation of the meeting, on following up some pilgrims' concerns and hotel problems, and announced the resumption of Syrian flights from Tehran to Damascus after about one year suspension.


Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei, head of the Hajj operations headquarters, also reported on the return flights of pilgrims to the country and said: Currently, 33 hotels in Makkah are empty of pilgrims.


In the continuation of this meeting, deputy of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center Dr. Taher Doroudi reported on the latest status of patients admitted to Saudi hospitals and the medical center in Mecca, and at the same time as the departure of the pilgrims, he pointed out the decrease in visits to medical centers in Mecca and Medina.


He announced the death toll of this year's Hajj 43 people, 38 people in Mecca and 5 others in Medina.


The final part of this meeting was the report of urban transport headquarters head Mr. Nasrollahi regarding the continuation of providing services to pilgrims until the last arrival of caravans in Mecca, and also the representative of Iran Air Hamid Qanbarnejad regarding the causes of delays in some Hajj flights.


So far, 65 thousand people have returned to the country by 290 flights from Jeddah and Medina airports, and all the involved people and  forces of this complex are trying to complete the return flights of pilgrims at appointed time and provide suitable facilities for the return of pilgrims, representative of Iran Air Company said.
