More than 2.7 million people register in Samah system

Chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization announced the registration of more than 2.7 million people in Samah system until today noon.

According to the Hajj information base, nearly 2.5 million people of these individuals have confirmed their registration by paying the insurance premium, Mr. Seyyed Abbas Hosseini added. He said the issue at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization which was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.


Chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization once again advised the Arbaeen pilgrims register in the Samah system in order to go to Iraq and participate in the Arbaeen Hosseini ceremony, so that they covered by accident and medical insurance in Iran and the Arbaeen walking route in Iraq.


The meeting was continued with the report of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization deputy in Atabat-e-Aliyat affairs Mr. Hamid Reza Mohammadi about the latest information recorded in the Samah system regarding the borders which were chosen by pilgrims for travelling to the holy places.


Mehran border with 63% has the highest number and Bashmaq border has the lowest number with half a percent, and 3% of pilgrims have chosen the air border to leave, he said.


Stating that the peak of travel is on these days, he added: about 13.1% of the total population who applied for pilgrimage trip left the borders last day.


With the aim of facilitating the guidance of pilgrims and the affairs of the lost, Hamiyar Arbaeen software has been used this year, and more than 950 personnel are working in 70 stations inside Iraq and 14 stations in six border points in order to provide services to pilgrims, Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization deputy in Atabat-e-Aliyat affairs added.


Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs also asked the officials of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to inform about the software used in this year's Arbaeen and the services they provide so that pilgrims can benefit from these services.


In the continuation of this meeting, Director General of Planning, Information Technology and Cyber Space Security of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Mehran Farshid reported about the technical problem that occurred last week in the Samah system and emphasized: Currently, Hosseini pilgrims registration continues normal, and expertise review regarding the causes of problems in this system are being followed by experienced teams.


The meeting was continued with the report of Hajj and Umrah deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei about the measures to start the Umrah trip. Head of the Iranian pilgrims also asked the officials and managers of Hajj and Pilgrimage to use all their efforts so that Umrah trips will be started on time and those who are interested in traveling to the land of revelation can benefit from this spiritual and pilgrimage trip.


Based on this report, new ambassador of our country to Saudi Arabia Mr. Alireza Enayati, also attended the meeting of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the organization of Hajj and Pilgrimage officials, and the issues that should be followed up during this mission in the field of Hajj and Pilgrimage were discussed.


Political representation of our country in Saudi Arabia will pay attention to these requests and demands in the new round of its activities in such a way that the Hajj and pilgrimage complex demands are met and the necessary agreements with the host country are reached, he emphasized.
