Necessity of faster provision of currency resources for Hajj and Umrah
The relevant institutions should help Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office to provide services for pilgrims by quickly providing foreign exchange resources needed for Hajj and Umrah trips, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs emphasized at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization chaired by Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
According to the Hajj information base, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs called for faster clarification of the amount and exchange rate and the cost of airline tickets for Umrah trips.
Failure to provide the necessary resources for Hajj and Umrah trips will cause problems in various areas, including accommodation, and will delay the start of Umrah trips. Every day, several thousand people are prevented from visiting the land of revelation, and the airlines which are looking for high profits, are also suffering, he said.

Deputies and experts of the Central Bank and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization had a joint meeting regarding the currency issues, and the Hajj Organization and Umrah-related companies are ready to organize the Umrah trip and are waiting for the decision of Central Bank to implement the Hajj al-Tamattu and Umrah programas, chairman of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization said.
Hajj and Umrah deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei presented a detailed report of the virtual expert meeting with the officials of the host country regarding the pathology of the past Hajj and the requests of our country to provide suitable facilities for visiting Iranian pilgrims.
Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs asked Mr. Rezaei to reflect the 30 cases presented at the meeting to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the embassy of our country in Riyadh in written and the necessary follow-up should be done until the result is achieved in various cases, including the payment of Mena’s martyrs, returns of Hajj 1401 and 1402 debt claims by Saudi companies, and holding Kumail Dua’ as in the past.
The meeting continued with the report of Arbaeen headquarters head of Hajj and pilgrimage organization about the satisfaction of Arbaeen pilgrims Mr. Vahid Safari and the CEO of Mihan insurance Hadi Sheikhul Islami about the services provided during this year's Arbaeen.
Hajj and Pilgrimage organization was relatively successful in various areas this year Arbaeen compared to previous years and according to the survey, the overall satisfaction increased to more than 71%, while in last year's Arbaeen, satisfaction was 56%, he added.
Stating that during this year's Arbaeen ceremony, out of 5,780 injured people who received services, 4,504 were insured, CEO of Mihan insurance said 137 people died
