The latest executive measures regarding to resumption of Umrah trips were discussed and reviewed at the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization.

According to the Hajj information base, the meeting of Planning and Coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization was held under the chairmanship of Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.


Chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Seyed Abbas Hosseini and deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Hajj and Umrah affairs Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei reported on the executive measures and actions for supply, allocation, transfer and exchange rate, the issue of flight and plane ticket price, and also Saudi readiness to issue visas for agents who are going to go to Saudi Arabia.


Referring to the meeting of High Council of Hajj in the coming days, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs clarified: everything that should be done in connection with the spiritual journey of Umrah in the Hajj and Pilgrimage complex, the follow-up and management of the agents dispatch and also the timing of Umrah pilgrims dispatch should be done and by finalizing the appropriate software, the pilgrims can enjoy a quiet, easy and fast visit.


Reminding the expectations of officials and people for the faster beginning of Umrah, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized: all department must manage its programs and schedule in a way that there is no interruption in the other departments works, so that the Hajj and Pilgrimage organization and Supreme Leader Delegation Office can pass this stage well and respond to the expectations of people and officials.


Management and Resource Development deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Hamid Reza Rahbarifar also reported at the meeting on the investigations and measures regarding the assignment of real estate of the Hajj and Pilgrimage complex and the report of the country’s General Inspection Organization representative regarding the past Hajj. Hojja al-Islam Navvab emphasized that asking questions is their right and it is our duty to answer them.


At the beginning of this meeting, Iranian pilgrims’ head congratulated the Palestinian people on the victories of Palestinian resistance in the Al-Aqsa storm operation and thanked free people all over the world who called for the support and defense of the oppressed Palestinian nation.


Referring to the double standards of America and the West in dealing with global issues and ignoring the rights of the Palestinians and the continued occupation of the Palestinian land, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated: they falsely call themselves defenders of freedom and human rights, and instead of standing by the oppressed Palestinian nation, they support the child-killing and criminal Zionist regime.


Referring that it is stated in the verses of Qur'an and the words of the Infallibles that the oppressor is going away and will be destroyed, he emphasized: it is the statement of Imam Ali (AS) that you should always fight against the oppressors and support the oppressed.


Throughout history, there has never been such a conflict that a child-killing and criminal regime is created in the land of another nation, usurped their rights and built house on the ruins of their homes, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs added.


Oppressed Palestinian nation move in defending the ideals of Islam and humanity and standing against the oppressor, stunned the world and will be remembered in history, he said.
