Sending Over 240,000 pilgrims to Atabat Until End of Mehr 1402

At the meeting of the Planning and Coordination Council of the Supreme Leader's Representative Office and Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, it was announced that more than 240,000 pilgrims from all over the country will be dispatched to the holy shrines until the end of Mehr 1402.

According to the Hajj Information Base, in this meeting that was held under the chairmanship of Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, the Atabat deputy of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization announced the news and expressed his hope that in the next five months, the number of pilgrims will increase compared to the previous year.

Hamid Reza Mohammadi pointed out that last year about 347,440 people were sent to the holy shrines in the form of caravans of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, adding that the largest number of pilgrims were sent to Tehran, Khorasan Razavi and Mazandaran provinces, but if the dispatch statistics are considered based on the proportionality of the population of the provinces, Qom province ranks first.

He pointed to the provinces that had the lowest number of people sent to Atabat in 1401, and added that among the 32 provinces of the country, 14 provinces had a performance higher than half a percent.

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab also asked the Deputy of Atabat of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to prepare and submit a report on the number of pilgrims who visited the Atabat by the caravans of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization and by other means, and appreciated the managers and officials of 14 provinces who were interested in sending pilgrims.

In the continuation of this meeting, Gholamreza Rezaei, Deputy Director for Hajj and Umrah of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization pointed out the readiness of various units of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to resume Umrah trips, and said, "The visas of the members of the various committees who are supposed to travel to the host country in order to send and conclude a container contract will be issued this week and the pre-registration notice for Umrah will also be published soon.

This meeting continued with the report of Mr. Hamid Rahbarifar, Deputy Director of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization regarding the amount of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims' deposits in Mellat and National Banks and the follow-ups for their better use in order to cover part of the travel expenses.

"Meetings were held with the officials of these banks and they were requested to present their plans in this regard," he added.

Pointing out that the amount paid at the time of registration included a good percentage of the expenses of sending the pilgrim, but now its value is much less, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization requested a joint meeting with the managers and officials of the two banks and a suitable solution for better use of the pilgrims' deposits and the profit obtained from it should be considered and paid for the interests and rights of the pilgrims.

According to the report, at the beginning of the meeting, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs condemned the crimes by the Zionist regime's army against the defenseless residents of Gaza, and said, "These days are not only for the Muslim community and religious believers, but also for humanity and the free people of the world. It is the most bitter moments and what we are witnessing today from Israel's child-killing occupying regime is astronomically far from the crimes we heard from Pharaoh and Genghis and the enemies of humanity."

Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said that those who accuse others of not respecting human rights and there is the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in their black dossier are silent in front of the bombing of the cities and the defenseless people of Palestine.

He mentioned the Zionist regime as the most hated regime in the world today, which targets the innocent, old men, old women and innocent Palestinian children in their homes with arrogantly donated bombs, and records the history of this blackness and oppression for the cruel rulers.
