The services and facilities that Iran Mobile Communications Company can provide to pilgrims of Baitullah Al-Haram, Umrah and Arbaeen were reviewed at the meeting of mci officials with the head of the Iranian pilgrims and chairman of Hajj and pilgrimage organization

According to the Hajj information base, deputy managing director Mr. Hamid Behrouzi and general manager of organizational business in Iran Mobile Communications Company Mr. Mustafa Darjazi attending the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, met and talked with Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab and chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Seyed Abbas Hosseini.


Iran Mobile Communications Company officials presenting a report at the meeting on the amount of mci services usage in Saudi Arabia by the pilgrims of Baitullah Al Haram in 1401 and 1402, referred to the services and facilities that Iran Mobile Communications Company can provide to the pilgrims of Baitullah Al Haram, Umrah and Arbaeen in the country.


In the matter of Hajj, the first priority is not to make profit, but to provide better and safer services to pilgrims, deputy managing director of Iran Mobile Communications Company emphasized.


Referring to the amount of Internet usage and duration of conversation by Iranian pilgrims in last two Hajj in the host country, general manager of organizational business in Iran Mobile Communications Company also said said: these figures are increasing in this year's Hajj, which can indicate the level of satisfaction of subscribers.


He also reported on the services provided to Arbaeen pilgrims and mentioned the arrangements which have made for better services to Arbaeen pilgrims.


Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs assessed the raised points as good and at the same time emphasized: It is the pilgrim's right to make the best decision in the light of proper information.


Head of the Iranian pilgrims asked the mci officials to prepare and present a comparison table between the operators active in Saudi Arabia that provide services during the Hajj season and the Mobile Communications Company of Iran.


Determining the facilities and benefits of each of the service providers, Hajj and Umrah pilgrims can choose the network they use by knowing the conditions, he added.


Management and Resources Development Deputies in the Supreme Leader Delegation Office and Hajj and Pilgrimage organization Mr. Mohammad Hossein Khoshnevis and Hmid Rahbarifar also expressed their views on the obligations and services that are effective in facilitating communication and other needs of pilgrims. Mci officials also emphasized that they are trying to provide services to Iranian pilgrims at a more reasonable price.


Stating that the use of domestic operators and providing appropriate facilities for pilgrims is a priority, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab emphasized at the end of the meeting on providing the necessary arrangements and infrastructure to enjoy faster internet speeds when using virtual space and communications.
