Hojjat al-Islam Navvab: Today Resistance needs Muslims' Spiritual and Financial Support
The Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs, in a gathering of scholars from different countries of the Islamic world, emphasized the need for spiritual and material support of Muslims against resistance to religious teachings in the current situation.
According to the Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative in a meeting with a group of scholars and intellectuals from different Islamic countries discussed the issues of Palestine and the Islamic world, the axis of resistance and the responsibilities of the Islamic Ummah and Islamic societies.
In this meeting, which was held by the cultural and educational committee of Arbaeen in Qom, Hojjat al-Islam Sheikh Abdullah Dahiq from the combatant scholars of Bahrain, Dr. Sheikh Aladdin Zaatari from Syrian scholars, Sheikh Abdullah al-Salem from the Palestinian scholars living in Lebanon, Dr. Sheikh Muslim Al-Daraji, the cultural representative of Kataeb Hezbollah of Iraq and Dr. Rashidi Nia, Head of the Research Center for the Approximation of Islamic Religions, Saeed Rusta Azad, Cultural and Publicity Deputy of the Islamic Propagation Office, Seyed Mofid Hosseini Kohsari, Head of the Center for International Relations of Seminaries, Ali Asghar Kiani, Director General of International Relations, International Vice President of the Society Al-Mustafa Al-Alamiya and Hamid Ahmadi, the head of the cultural and educational committee of Arbaeen, were present.
Based on this report, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab thanked the guests and participants in the meetind, and pointed out the emotional pain and extensive material damage of the oppressed people of Gaza due to the aggression of the occupying Zionist regime and stated that these people, in addition to injury of thousands of people and martyrdom of over 14,800 martyrs, their homes, medical, educational and public places have been destroyed in Gaza, and compensating for these sufferings and damages requires the participation of Muslim governments and nations.
"It is proper for everyone to act actively in rebuilding and alleviating the sufferings of the Palestinian nation and the role of scholars in paying attention to governments and nations is very important," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab said.
The Supreme Leader's representative emphasized that today the resistance needs the spiritual and material support of Muslims, and stated, "A lot of measures must be taken to revive the land of Palestine.
He said that the sons of Gaza showed their resistance, although the enemy has surrounded them and kept them away from the international community for years, but with their inherent talent and abilities, they have many initiatives in producing weapons and designing complex operations.
"It is necessary for every country, centered on these people, to undertake part of the work of rebuilding the Gaza Strip and not let these oppressed and honorable people feel alone," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added.
At the end, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stressed the need to prioritize the issues of the oppressed people of Gaza and respond to each of their needs at the right time.
In the continuation of this meeting, while explaining the situation in Syria, Dr. Zaatari said that after the military defeat of the enemies, Syria is today facing a severe economic war of the enemy, which is trying to achieve the goals that it did not achieve in the military battle.
This Syrian scholar said that the presence of America and the support of some countries to the separatist elements are among other problems of the region and Syria.
Referring to the situation of the Palestinians, Dr. Zaatari reminded the important responsibility of the Islamic world, the governments and the Muslims after the victory over the Zionist enemy, and stated that actions must be taken to restore and remove all the oppression of the oppressed Palestinian people.
He criticized the weak role played by the Islamic governments against the crimes of the Zionist regime and called for a serious and more effort to stop these crimes completely.
Dr. Zaatari considered the role of Islamic world scholars in supporting the resistance and Palestine as important and said that scholars must fulfill their responsibility towards the Palestinian people and the encroachments of enemies on Islamic lands.
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem, meantime, criticized the flow of scholars returning to Palestine and the governments' lack of attention to the Zionist regime's atrocities in the Muslim-occupied lands and said that the enemy only surrendered to the resistance, not the governments."
Referring to the displacement of the Palestinian nation with false promises and deception of some governments in the region, he said that in the 1948 and 1967 wars, they told us to leave your cities and homes and go to the neighboring countries so that we would not be hindered in the war with the Zionist enemy. They promised us that you will return to your homes soon and after a week, but seventy years have passed and no displaced person has been returned to their homeland. "Today, the resistance is standing and has not been fooled by these promises and has not failed in the face of oppression."
"Ayatollah Khamenei said that Palestine will be liberated by the hands of the Palestinians and there is no hope for the governments," he added.
in the continuation of this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Dr. Daraji stated that "we supported the Palestinian resistance in Iraq with all means and we were among the first groups to announce this support", and pointed to the gathering at the border of Jordan and other actions in Iraq.
The Cultural Officer of Kataeb Hezbollah Iraq pointed out the restrictions faced by the resistance in Iraq and said that despite all the problems and issues, "we continue to support the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza and within the framework of the interests of the Islamic Ummah and Iraq and with the cooperation of other We will continue to support groups in various forms".
By explaining the situation in Iraq and the resistance, he considered it important to coordinate and synergize the flow of scholars in support of Palestine.
Hojjat al-Islam Daqaq, one of the militant scholars of Bahrain, also said that God blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the land of Palestine, and the Holy Qur'an refers to it in Surah Asra, so this is the good news of the Qur'an, and God willing, with the blessing of this land, God's help will come and "we will witness it".
He pointed out the weakness of Islamic governments in supporting the Palestinian people and at the same time said that nations and people have shown their disgust with the Zionist regime in Bahrain and other Islamic countries and showed that their hearts are with the Palestinian people.
Criticizing the positions of some governments in the Persian Gulf region, Sheikh Abdullah Daqaq said that they gambled badly and tied their fate with the Zionist aggressors, while the victory is certain and Palestine is the winner of this field.
Hojjat al-Islam Hosseini Kohsari, the head of the international communication center of seminaries, also addressed the most important challenges and issues of Palestine after the end of this battle and the victory over the Zionist regime, and asked the scholars to be ready to meet the cultural, social and religious needs in the future and plan from now.
At the end of this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Ahmadi thanked the presence of all the professors and scholars and the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage in recent meetings of cultural activists of Arbaeen in Mashhad and considered Arbaeen Hosseini as a suitable platform for raising the issues of the Islamic world and Muslims.
The head of the cultural and educational committee of Arbaeen said that the holding of the Al-Aqsa call procession by the Palestinian scholars and intellectuals in this year's Arbaeen season is a blessed action and will bring more communication between Muslims and Palestinians.
