Hojjat al-Islam Navvab Tours Resto Quran Publishing Foundation in Malaysia
Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab visited Resto Quran Publishing Foundation in Malaysia.
According to Hajj Information Base, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs along with Mohammad Reza Bek Sahraei, charge d'affaires, and Habib Reza Arzani, Iran's Cultural attache in Malaysia, and Hojjat al-Islam Mansour Mirahmadi, Deputy for International Affairs of the Supreme Leader's representative office of the Quranic Foundation Resto visited Kuala Lumpur and talked with Datuk Abdul Latif Mirasa, the director of this foundation.
In this meeting, Datuk Abdul Latif Mirasa stated that Resto, as the largest Quranic foundation in Malaysia, is active in the field of memorization, teaching the basics of the Quran and Quranic art, and stated that at the Resto Foundation, the gilding and color diversity of the Quran is done according to the climate of each state in Malaysia. It is possible and the Muslims of this country observe the layout of the Quran according to their tastes and interests.
The Director of Resto Quranic Foundation mentioned his recent trip to Iran and added, "During this trip, we visited Quran publishing centers in some cities of Iran and learned about their activities and examined ways to develop cooperation."
Datuk Abdul Latif Mirasa, stating that Iranians are close to the Holy Quran, condemned the desecration of the Quran in some western countries, and said, "In the Resto Foundation, which is a non-governmental organization and whose activities are non-profit, we decided to donate one volume per volume. The Quran that is burned in Sweden, let's print one million copies of the Quran and send them to different countries."
In the continuation of this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stressed the need to translate the Quran into different languages and considered it necessary to use new methods to make people more familiar with the Quran and convey the message of this holy book to the world today.
Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed out the preparation of audio translation of the Quran in the Isfahan Research Center and suggested that the audio version of the Quran should be translated into Malay and English languages as well.
During this visit, Habib Reza Arzani, Iran's cultural attache to Malaysia, announced the visit of the Iranian Quran delegation to Malaysia in the future and the joint cooperation between the two countries in printing the Quran.
According to this report, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab and the accompanying delegation also participated in religious programs at the mosque of Resto Institute and while visiting different parts of this center for writing and publishing the Quran, they were informed about its activities with the explanations of the officials.
It should be noted that the Resto Foundation was established as a non-governmental organization in 1998 in the west of Kuala Lumpur with the aim of spreading the message of Islam in the world, strengthening Muslim communication and reviving Islamic arts in Malaysia.
