Pre-registration of Tamattu’ pilgrims
According to the measures and planning, the pilgrims who have the tamattu’ Hajj priority document will soon be pre-registered, it was announced at the meeting of Planning and coordination Council of Supreme Leader Delegation Office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.
According to the Hajj information base, announcing this news, deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization in Hajj and Umrah affairs Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei asked pilgrims to complete their information in the system after the publication of pre-announcement and announcement of the upcoming Tamattu Hajj registration. The meeting was chaired by Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab.
Announcing the electronic registration of pilgrims in the middle of Dey, he said that pilgrims should be ready to pay the fee in order to provide foreign exchange for renting house and other services in Saudi Arabia.
Appropriate measures have been taken in providing housing, food, supplies and transportation for the future Hajj, and the Hajj and Pilgrimage complex will use its own capacities and those of the partner institutions in order to streamline the Hajj operations.
Emphasizing on appropriate and timely information to accompany the pilgrims with the efforts of the Hajj and Pilgrimage complex, Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage affairs added: our duty is to serve and facilitate the affairs of pilgrims for Hajj.
In the continuation of this meeting, chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Seyyed Abbas Hosseini, deputy of Hajj and Pilgrimage organization in Hajj and Umrah affairs Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei and Director General of Planning, Information Technology and Cyber Space Security of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Mr. Mehran Farshid and the officials of Umrah Saadat Company pointed out the plans and measures taken to organize Umrah trips. It was announced that these trips will be begin on Dey 13 and in the first phase, 10 flight stations are planned for dispatching Umrah pilgrims.
Mr. Rezaei stated that the expected capacity from Dey 13 to Esfand 10, this year is about 61,000 people, who will be sent to the Land of Revelation in the form of more than 460 groups with nearly 23 flights.
In case of planning to continue dispatching pilgrims in the months of Sha'ban and Ramadan, the number of Umrah pilgrims will be increased.
Stating that now the opportunity has been provided for the registration of people who have Umrah documents, head of the Iranian Pilgrims asked chairman of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization inform pilgrims about the facilities that have been provided for Umrah pilgrims through IRIB and other media.
