Iranian, Algerian officials welcomed scientific cooperation in field of Hajj

Head of Algeria's Muslim Scholars Association and Iranian Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs in a video conference welcomed joint scientific cooperation in Hajj field.

 


According to the Hajj information site, Hojjat ​​al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and the head of the Algerian Muslim Scholars Association today welcomed joint scientific cooperation in the field of Hajj and exchanged views on its solutions.


In this virtual meeting, which was also attended by the Secretary General and Head of the National Office of the Algerian Muslim Scholars Association and the International Vice President of the Supreme Leader's Mission, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab pointed to the history of the struggles of the two nations of Iran with American colonialism and Algeria with the French occupation and solidarity in the Islamic world is considered to be the cause of growth and synergy of all Islamic countries.


The head of Iranian Pilgrimages listed the capacities that exist in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Research Center for scientific and research cooperation in different fields of Hajj, and the head of the Algerian Muslim Scholars Association also pointed out that this is the first contact and exchange of views between the officials of the two sides in the field of Hajj.


"Considering the presence of Algerian professors and scholars in this population, we can have good cooperation," he said, adding that there is scope for cooperation in various dimensions of Hajj, including rituals, and communication between scholars and religious elites of the two countries can be effective and useful in this area.


In the continuation of this visual communication, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs pointed out the crimes of the brutal and child-killing Zionist regime against the oppressed people of Gaza in the occupied Palestinian land.


Referring to the words of the beloved Prophet of Islam, who said that Islam is exalted and superior and it will prevail and nothing will win over Islam, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab expressed hope that the people of Palestine and Gaza will win the final victory in this fight with God's grace and support.


Hojjat al-Islam Navvab stated that while some Islamic countries have rushed to help their religious brothers and sisters in Palestine, unfortunately, in some Islamic countries, no attention is paid to the defense of the oppressed Palestinian nation. "It is a religious and religious pioneer and is also in a good position in the defense of the Palestinian nation."


"The two nations of Iran and Algeria, which emerged with the leadership and help of Imam Khomeini (RA) and with the sacrifice of the Algerian people and fighters from America and French colonialism, today understand the problems of the Palestinians more," he said, adding that the head of the Algerian Muslim Scholars Association stated that this level of attack on defenseless people has not been seen since the Second World War.


"The people of Algeria stand firm in support of the land of Palestine and the people of Gaza and have repeatedly stated that the rights of the Palestinians must be respected," Hojjat al-Islam Navvab added. 


He further said that such events and crimes against the oppressed people of Palestine remind us as an Islamic nation that "we must stand together against our enemies".


At the end of this meeting, Hojjat al-Islam Mirahmadi, the deputy head of the Supreme Leader's representative office for international affairs also pointed out the readiness for communication and scientific and cultural cooperation between these two groups in different areas of Hajj and Quranic activities.


Welcoming scientific and research cooperation with the Iranian side, Hojjat al-Islam Mirahmadi added that such cooperation will be useful in common understanding of issues in this field.
