Hajj organization ready to send 150,000 pilgrims to Umrah

In the meeting of the planning council of the Supreme Leader's representative office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, it was announced that so far about 150,000 people have declared their readiness to go on Umrah.

According to the Hajj information base, in this meeting which was presided by Hojjat al-Islam Seyed Abdolfattah Navvab, the Supreme Leader's representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs, Mr. Seyed Abbas Hosseini, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, announced this, and added, "So far for 40,000 people capacity has been created in the caravans and the remaining capacity will be gradually completed this year.


Mr. Gholamreza Rezaei, Deputy Director of Hajj and Umrah of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, also pointed out that the filled capacity of the first flights has reached 99%, and stated that the statistics show that there is no special problem regarding the system connecting Iran and Saudi Arabia.


However, he said, regarding the flights, the complete working process and flight schedule should be confirmed along with the communication between the Iranian and Saudi air transport companies and devices.


The Hajj and Umrah deputy of the Hajj organization presented a report on the challenges of the implementation of the Hajj 1402 Hajj and the solutions to overcome the challenges, and said, the finding about the demerits of the past Hajj was conducted during the operation in 13 groups and numerous meetings in the headquarters and the provincial offices.


The Head of Iranian Hajj pilgrims, meantime, emphasized that the Supreme Leader's representative office and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization will serve the pilgrims, and clarified that in all areas, various aspects must be examined and due care must be taken regarding the dispatch of agents so that the rights of the pilgrims are not lost.


He pointed out that with the measures and efforts made in the past Hajj, the number of agents was reduced, and emphasized that regarding the reduction in the number of staff and agents, attention should be paid to the use of multi-professional brokers through performance evaluation.


He added that in the last Hajj, the ratio of pilgrims to workers reached the highest number, but still efforts should be made to reduce it by maintaining the quality of the sent forces so that more pilgrims who have been waiting in line for years can visit.


Referring to the start of Umrah pilgrims flights on Dey 13 and the beginning of Hajj pilgrims registration operation, Hojjat al-Islam Navvab expressed hope that with more activities of different departments and management, these two operations will be done better than in the past and another honor for The honors of servants of pilgrims in Hajj and pilgrimage should be increased.
